Help? Cannot get it apart...
paysaw replied to Wizard765's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Hi Bud Sorry to hear your second gear gace out. My 83 only has about 46k on it and my second gear seems stong.I wonder if there is a way to find out if my bike had the factory second gear upgrade?Take care and good luck with the repair. -
A Sad Passing Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Born and bread in Minnesota . Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half- baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions. Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three children: John Dough, Jane Dough and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes. If this made you smile, please rise to the occasion and take time to pass it on and, share that smile with someone else that may be having a crumby day and kneads a lift.

I had a Tarus with a bad core.I remember when I had it repaired that they undid half my dash at the core side and swung it open. They said it took off hours from the repair. My Tarus ran great after that.Sadly the body melted off the frame..
-
It sounds like the heater core is plugged. You could have a small leak in the core or at the fittings in the firewall. If you can get underneath where the pipes connect in the interior of your car, check and see if inlet and outlet pipes are warm or hot.You could check it from the engine compartment as well.If it is hot on the inlet and cool on the outlet, your core is plugged

1986 Royale Carburation problem?????
paysaw replied to ahunt2412's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I agree with the airbox. My 83 does not run well with the airbox off.I only have it off to cehck sliders . When I put the airbox back on, it runs tops.Maybe the carbs need a controlled intake environoment. -
Turn Signal Problem
paysaw replied to DesertRider's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
This could be a long shot, but your turn signals are connected through your 4 way flashers.Check and see if your 4 ways works. It could be in your 4 way switch.Try cleaning that switch too. -
I know the BMW are fantastic bikes.I know people who have them and love them. I love them too.Parts and service are costly. My bud pays $25.00 a pop a spark plug for his 2009 BMW. I love my Venture because it is quiet, very fast , and easy to maintain.
