    I like the old chat better, but everytime I log on its empty. I see keep both, shoutbox is cool because it does show member post and like/thank you updates while the old chat has that nifty music player and pictures!

    Now that even takes me back 'Puc! The Badlands and the whole black hills area are both really special to me. I've been up that way so many times I literally go by memory (not saying it doesn't get me into trouble every now and again)! I remember being 6 or maybe 7 years old and riding on the back of dads Goldwings up to the black hills. Theres a restaurant that I believe is called The Windmill on the western end of Rapid City that I can never get out of my mind. I always have to go back for the breakfast buffet. It was kind of neat hearing it from the adults point of view though. I remember Wall-Drug too 5 cent coffee and free water t'boot! Did they have the T-Rex when you two went? I remember being terrified of that thing! Dont forget to ride the jackalope while in drug too!

    It wouldn't be a bad Idea if we could customize our pin colors to the type of help we would offer like what cowpuc was saying before. Say green is camping available, red is tools and shop, blue would be if we wouldn't mind letting people stay the night. Just an idea

    I let the song just play right on through. Congratulations to your daughter and keep the stories coming. I could almost feel that summer air, but our heater always shuts off at the worst time!!

    Do as much walking as you can. Put some earbuds in and listen to some good tunes. I need to get in a little better shape too, but there are just soo many good excuses out there

    PBJman glad to hear yours doesnt bother. Like i shared on the last post mine only bothers me if i let it. I'm more curious to see if the I basket makes any difference, if it does hurrah! If not oh well As far as 'Pucs video, yeah that is the same noise that we have. Just imagine it at its loudest at 60 and that is what most people deal with. Like you said, a quirk of the engine and i also think it makes them just that much more unique I'm going to do a before and after video when i change my clutch basket out maybe that'll be interesting!

    owned an 85 and a 99 venture. The 99 is considerably louder but I think this is due to two reasons. The first is the design of the fairing. I've noticed just by leaning back or to the side and I can almost totally eliminate it. The other is that at 62 I'm sitting at 3200 rps, the first gen is more in the 3500 to 3700 rpm range. I'm not sure about the second one though. What are your rpms at 62
