I was just in Pep Boys here in central Jersey today and besides the usual Rotella 15-40 diesel (which I run in my RSV), they now have two different Castrol 15-40s (both for diesels) and for the first time I saw the Mobil Delvac 15-40 as well. A veritable potpourri of oils to choose from if you like running diesel oil, which I do. Anyone know if there are any significant differences among them or are they all basically the same?

For this exercise assume two RSV's. RSV A is a 2007 and cost $9,000. RSV B is a 2000 and cost $5,500. Both have similar mileage. Both well maintained. You can afford to buy either. Which would you choose?

Kirby I posted this in open forum instead of PM, so anyone else who wants to join up can. The plan is to ride down to the glades and go for Air boat rides, and then plan from there. And of course anyone you choose to invite is Welcome. Tell Dan there is no whimping out this year and I'm gonna tell David the same. Let me know what you think Gregg

Just ordered samples of the tee's with the new logo's..AND YES THEY WILL BE OFFERED WITH POCKETS..also long sleeve tee's (no pockets), sweatshirts, and..... for the women...beautiful pink fleece zippered jackets...wow..... taters had one made to see if she would like it...it's great ...ok, if you guys like pink ,maybe we can get your size..lol...should be up and going within a week or two...four colors to choose from...when the shirts arrive, I will get pictures posted and prices up to...thanks for bearing with me on this project..I know its taking a little time to get rolling but, it'll be worth the wait...:fnd_(16):.

and I guess I didn't have enough info. I have amzoil in my '07' Venture but was reading that Mobile 1 was more apt to quiet the whine down a little more. There were 2 types to choose from and @ $10.00 a quart I didn't want to get the wrong one. So - the question is "which mobile 1 oil do I want to get ?? " and how about the filter ??

Anybody ever use one of these. Boss took my Nuvi 350 so I thought I'd go ahead and try the upgrade. It's a little larger and has blue tooth capabilities. It also looks like you can use way points to choose your route, something I couldn't do on the other. I can't afford the motorcycle version.

Folks, some of you may know about this and some may not. It is totally up to you if you want to try it or not, but I use it and have received checks from it. The website is www.mrrebates.com . This site has numerous stores, vacations, credit cards you can choose from. All of which gives you a percentage back based on how much you spend. So if you do a lot of shopping online like I, you could receive a nice check back. Not only do you get cash back, you also get the same specials that store is offering as well. They have all the major stores (Best Buy, Wal Mart, etc.). Just look for the percentage you get back on the right hand side to see how much money you could earn. It takes about 90 days for your cash to clear and once you get $20 in your account, you just request your check and it's in the mail to you. All you need is your email account to start. They don't spam you to death either. Only emails you will receive is when you have cash pending and weekly specials if you choose to get them. Worth a try. Can you listen to music on the headphones and talk on the cb/intercom all at the same time or do I have to choose between cb, intercom or stereo?

I just purchased a 2000 RSV last week. This is my first "tour" style bike and I can't tell how excited I am! I absolutley love this bike but I'm full of questions. One thing I want to do is get helmets with headsets so I can communicate with the little lady and listen to the radio.... Can anyone recomend a decent brand/model? I've seen J&M and Chatterbox products on the net but there are so many models to choose from. I don't want buy two sets only to find out that the sound quality/volume is poor or they won't work with the Venture. Any input is welcome and appreciated. Thanks, Jay
