    Mike, mine was powered straight to a wire in the fairing that was only hot when the switch was on. use the largest wire you can find that has power on it......Ken

    loved the CW at the start but been to long to copy. I just figure they had on parachutes and jumped free fall after they finished.

    I really don't know. Rick won't be back until the 18th. I have ordered a gel-pad sheep skin combo but may have to get it worked on too or just buy one if I can find it. Someone else posted and got a set in a snap just my luck......Ken:95:

    I saw several on I-40 saturday as I was picking up my 04 PERL. Then some on us64 around Andrews NC. Again no one on channel 29. It doesn't matter because no one knew me on this bike anyways:big-grin-emoticon: One thing was funny at the rest stop in Andrews their was a Harley rider and with his helmet off their was still words impressioned across his forehead, USA HARLEY,I don;t know if he realized it or not. Oh and I know their were 3 RSV on wolfpin gap Sunday Because I was one of them Red and silver 99 , Tan 2000 MM, AND MY 2004 Pearl

    Due to my wife losing her job in February I lost my 2007 RSV yesterday. It was heartbreaking watching it leave! I have a 96 4x4 Suzuki x90 5 speed and some cash if someone has a 99 or 2000 plus they don't ride any more. I am not interested in anything but a 2nd Gen RSV, just spoiled now.     As of right now My wife and I are planning on coming in on thursday and stay at the Super 8 in black mountain. I need some contact numbers so we can find out what is going on after we get there. If the temps are still in the upper 90's I don't know if we will do it or not. We were caught in a severe thunder storm 2 weeks ago and I had to look at the yellow lines beside my bike to see where I was going. It scared the S**t out of me! Lets all hope and pray for some cooler weather.......Ken

    I reckon if you put it out there for comments it is open for good and negative both. My wife ask my if I would get one and my answer was oh yea! I don't have ATT service so it is not an option for me. I have had a Droid and it was an awesome phone too, but did some things that drove me nuts! I text but would rather someone just call me. I have also had an IPOD touch which is the same thing without the phone part and it was very cool. I saw an IPAD in use in our shop last week but thought why not just use a laptop? If you like it and it works for you then go for it.....Ken

    Yep, put mine back on about 3 months ago. I have no regrets! I can hear the radio,CB and intercom with no problem now. The low end is better also. I have even had the originals that were drilled out, but I am going to stay stock this time......Ken

    I still use VHF and UHF but don't have any HF gear any more. So this was kinda cool to me. I just thought it might be a neat thing for the hams who ride a Venture to do.....Ken

    Kisan modulator works perfect. Plug and play and can program speed of pulse if you want. I have used one for 2 years now and believe it has stopped several people from pulling out in front of me! Have even had people pull over and let us by to get that out of the rear view mirror.( SNICKER)
