  1. I have a mesh jacket with an inside pocket that a Taurus 38 fits perfect in, and still concealed. Air goes threw it but still has the armor.
  2. Just on a note, I go into one certain plant to do work and had to sign a paper stating that I knew better then to carry a knife or weapon within that company. That includes a pocket knife that I use for work Ect. The funny thing is I am able to use a razor like box cutter! Go figure!
  3. Taurus ultra light model 85 38 special, works for me when I ride.
  4. My wife like the louder ones too. I put the stock pipes back on and just wasn't the same! The RKs went back on. Gives it some character.
  5. But why? Did the cassette player go out?
  6. Yep just put an E3 on the back this week. People around here think their tire changers are made of Gold and one person wanted $55.00 to mount and Balance if I bought the tire somewhere else! Wound up costing me $175.00 for a mv85B15 Elite 3 Dunlop where I could have bought the tire online shipped for $130.00. Then I found a moto shop here that has a tire changer and balance machine that said they will do my tires for $20.00. I was ready to just buy a manual changer and do it my self, but 20.00 is reasonable and I will try them first. Thanks for letting me vent some.
  7. could have ordered a E3 MV85B15 for 130.00 shipped but everyone around here wants a fortune to mount and balance if you don't buy from them! My end price was 175.00. Then after I paid that I found someone who would mount and balance for $20.00! so end price would have been $150.00. I will do that on the front tire!
  8. This is what we had to do to stop the snow, and last Sunday here is the result and then there is one pic of 3 weeks ago. Just gotta love Jawja weather
  9. As with all the other post,Thanks for all you have done Terry! Good luck in all that you do.
  10. 15 degrees here in the south and you have 65 in Co. whats up with that! If it's over 50 degrees we ride and clean latter.
  11. That is funny,I bought an Epiphone 12 string in 1980 and it has been sitting in the closet for years. I played a martin last Saturday night and set me on fire, so I took it and had it restrung, tightened and tuned and it is good as new. I also bought a new tuner and it is awesome too. Nothing sounds like Christmas in Dixie on a 12 string.......Ken
  12. Funny story, I went out to unlock a Dodge ram Pick up for a Dentist one evening and the whole job took less then a minute after I started. He ask what the charge was and I said $50.00. He said wow I Don't make that kind of money and my reply was "I didn't either when I was a Dentist" we both had a good laugh and went on our way.
  13. No way, no shape, no form! Now saying that would I like the 1800 power Yes, The ABS yes, The GPS type screen with all the frills yes, But they don't have the cassette player like we do! This is my 3rd RSV not all by choice, but this is the ride for me. Quote Ken :1 Verse:1 as for me and my house we will ride a RSV.
  14. You are right Eck it was a G5, But I wouldn't know the difference. It took off from Phoenix air in Cartersville where I do all the locks and doors. The ride was arranged by the GM, but I have worked with several others there. It was an absolute rush! to be set back in a seat like it did. Some one also suggested doing a google on the leer plane number and what a history it has too. I had no idea. It has one up on the Venture but may be considered a little out of that league.
  15. I got to take a ride on a leer like jet today just for the Joy of it!.We flew to Birmingham, Al. then to Nashville,Tn. Then Back to Cartersville, Ga. Topped out at 34,000 ft. Had a leer flying with us too it was very cool to look out and see him off our wing tip. It was one of the best days of my life!
  16. This is a message from John Ogden, Sr., CEO/Chairman of the Board for CMA: Thank you for all of your prayers for the CMA team in Haiti and also the other teams we have around the world at this time. I visited with Kerry this morning and his team is at the border of Haiti and the Dominican Republic and no longer in danger. They are being well taken care of and said the lodging and food are great. Everyone's spirits are high. They will soon be back in the Dominican Republic and in the hands of Missionary Ventures where they will continue to be well cared for. This has been a trying time for them as well as our CMA families, but we believe the hand of God was upon them and that things far greater than we could comprehend were being accomplished in CMA, as well as with our ministry partners, for the Kingdom of God. Within the ministry of CMA there are many things we are believing God for and we can truly see the hand of God on this ministry opening doors. Thank you for being a part of what God is doing through CMA. Please continue to pray for our teams around the world. In closing, below is an email from Kerry describing some of what they have been through. ------------------------ Under cover of darkness the UN loaded our baggage into one APC and positioned us into 2 others. We gathered up and did a practice run about an hour before the scheduled 02:40 load time. After the practice drill the lights were killed to avoid detection by the Haitians and to give the appearance of "all quiet." and then we waited. At 02:40, on the nose, the leader came in and gave the command "vaminos." We loaded our respective vehicles quietly and in the darkness our convoy slipped out of the gates and into the Haitian streets. From that point on there wasn't anything covert about it. It was fast and loud. Once out in the city streets our convoy separated, possibly to make it more difficult for anyone who may be interested, to focus on the Blancos. (Whites) The entire run took about a half hour and we arrived at the much larger, more secure, Chileian army base outside of town to wait on the next leg of our journey out. Sent from my phone but it's still all about Jesus! Kerry
  17. Last time I did a refresh ride I had a guy pull right out in front of me and caused me to to a hard quick stop. When I confronted him he said I shouldn't have been going so fast. I was only doing the speed limit! He just didn't look before he pulled out. Road rage had already taken over me, I was possessed! I am glad it didn't turn into a fight but at that point I didn't care. Just ruined my refresh ride! took hours for the Adrenalin to settle down.
  18. Saw a different version of it last night, With a stand still picture of your wife and you standing at the bike with leather on and striped helmets. Then the famous ride and wave at the end like before. Even in a 2 second image I still recognized that it was a Venture!
  19. Very Cool, Congrats
  20. So who is boss you are the hoss? I did a very similar training and really built up some good confidence. Then I was going out of a friends steep drive way and a trailer was parked in front of it and I cut short, ran into his mail box and rolled momma and me down his yard. I did 3 total flips down his yard. Soft landing, very little damage to the bike, but out right busted my bubble of having my bike whooped. Those who have and those who will!
