  1. Mine would not rattle at idle Denden, but only when reved as the RPMs were climbing. Don't remember if sitting certain way would do it but only noticed it when sitting (It was on Blue Beast) and I tightened the rear header shield and it quit.Don't know why it was loose. They are bad at wearing out mounting holes too. Then the chamber started to go. I thought timing chain when I heard mine.Hope it is a simple fix Randy.
  2. You got it bout right. Cages are vehicles that you are encaged in or trapped in such as a car.
  3. Hope it is not the tranny Randy. Heat shield on rear headers??
  4. And put a little Di-Electric grease on the things you clean.
  5. I would wait to see where its comingv from but you can't hurt anything. Good Luck and Enjoy!!! Let us know.
  6. Squeeze is right needs to be rode if it is working and used. It may fix itself now by being used.
  7. When you take that side cover off there is a washer on the bottom center Allen screw. It needs to go back in same place or you will have leak. I think there is a good chance you could break everything down and carefully clean it and get clutch to work. It may end up leaking and you would have to go back in but 2nd time is lot easier.
  8. Do as Randy said. If you open bleeder on slave cylinder and it is still hard to pull you have a restriction somewhere. Might bleed it out but most likely taking things apart and cleaning them. Did system have fluid when you got it?
  9. Handle hard as a rock when you try to pull it? Something not lined up. Probally plate with springs. Can pull handle ? Try bleeding. Could be plugged line.
  10. Did all the notches come out and go back in the same place. What I mean is they are all lined up? Plate with springs go back same place? There are marks on it to line it up.
  11. Watch the notches in the clutch plates when you pull them out and put them back in same position. put them in some fresh oil and wipe them down with it. Make sure you put them back in same position nothing is going to fly apart as Randy said. Don't overtighten springs when putting them back the torque is only about 10 lbs can't find it right now but just good and snug. Bleed it and you will have a clutch and go try it out!!!
  12. I think the rotor changes in there somewhere but you can swap rotor in minutes and use rim if I'm not mistaken. Someone else will jump in here with info that the change was 86 and the rotors are 1/2 inch larger I think but wheels remained same. But wait for someone with better gray matter than mine to confirm this.
  13. Thats what I did. About 3/4 Sea-Foam and !/4 fresh gas. Run it til you are sure its in the carbs good and leave sit.
  14. Working on that now Randy. I had the Shock out of "Blue Beast before I thought of that but I still have the other one in the one I need to get running. Just getting it on centerstand is a challange as it is not running. But I can take measurements fron it. I have found holes and cracks in the frame with wheel and stuff out of the way but still don't see how it could drop that much. No cracks or anything that have seperated that much when it is on centerstand. I'm still looking.
  15. Run the Sea-foam real strong and you might have a chance. I did that with one and it worked. I soaked them overnight in a 3/4 Sea-Foam 1/4 gas mix about three times. I was almost sure it was just crud in there and ended up being right. Soak them for about 2 days in as strong a solition as you can get it to run. It might cost you a set of plugs. When you get the Sea-Foam in there pull the plugs and leave them out til you get ready to restart. Seems to make a difference I don't know why.
  16. Still trying to figure out if mine could be saved without stripping everything to go to another frame. So many things going on haven't been able to spend much time on it. Can't figure out how thing is dropping that much and not showing. Changing frames means I don't ride this year.
  17. Wonder if 92 frame would be same as 83? Trying to figure out which direction to head with all these parts. I GOT PARTS!!
  18. I'm fairly sure most are. The 90s or 45s make it a lot easier. Think about which side of bike you are most likely to be on when airing up. I faced a 45 wrong way once and was always going around bike to get at it seemed like.
  19. After all that Now I don't want to talk!!
