    Test

I was busy studying for the test...
  2. My '83 Honda CX650 was blown over. I ended up selling it shortly after. But then I found my '84 VR and eventually met up with this site!!!
  3. Perhaps I will next trip across the border...
  4. Has anybody tried a car tire on the front?? Seeing as the trike does not lean as much, wouldn't a flatter bottom give more grab for turning???
  5. OK! Jeff, yours is the answer I was looking for. Charlie, Big Tom has a progressive pump and he says it's da bomb, and I'll be using it. Thanks for the link to the air lines as I have been looking for it. Rick, it is my '09 RSV with the steer lite rake. Carl, well, errr, I guess...
  6. Sorry, my saddlebags are going to be installed on the '84...
  7. Man, that sure sux Gary!!! Now if it was a trike that wouldn't have happened...
  8. What air pressure are you running in the front forks?? How much of a difference does it make? Has anybody put progressive springs in their forks and if so what were the results?? Inquiring minds want to know. I'm thinking I want things a little stiffer in the front and am going to experiment with several different pressures. Gonna start at 10 psi and work from thetre..
  9. Waaaay more than I want to remember...
  10. Wizard765 and Marcarl came down this afternoon and we took a little ride before dinner. It's a whole different world but I'm starting to really like it!!! Stil gonna keep Goldie for 2 wheels and ride both frequently but I can see eventually selling Goldie and keeping the trike forever..
  11. Absolutely LOVE the mirror mod...
  12. 'Gator Burgers!!!
  13. Well, I guess it's about as close as you are going to get to a Midnight RSV! Congratulations on the new scoot and I hope you get many miles of riding pleasure out of it!
  14. As far as how big a job it is, that depends on your mechanical ability. You will have to tear your front down a ways, but it is pretty much remove your front forks, remove your old triple tree, install the new one reinstall your forks, put the fairing back on if you elected to remove it, and get on with life...
  15. But, but, but I don't have saddlebags any more...
  16. Unfortunately, in life a little poop must drop...
  17. Well, I feel like a bledded man as my wife loves to ride! Yes, we have dropped it hard a couple of times, and last year hit a deer on the way back from MD but we both know the risks every time we swing a leg over. I also know exactly how you feel about not ever wanting to hurt your wife as she is the most important person you know! Every time we have dropped it my first and foremost concern is my wife! Thank God we have never had a bad accident as I know I would go absolutely crazy!! My wife is a breast cancer survivor and I distinctly remember what that was like to go thru! Sooo, my answer to your concerns is to consider how she feels about the subject, and remember there are a lot more threats in life besides a possible MC accident. When she does ride I hope it triggers a response to be extra careful. The last thing she wants is for you to get hurt as well!!!!!
  18. Yah!!! Becky and I were stuffed when we left!! Waaaay to much good food!
  19. Somebody call the cops!!! You stole that bike! and less than 5K miles on it!!!!
  20. We will be leaving mid afternoon Friday if you want to join us...
  21. Nah, you go ahead and enjoy them!! The real person to thank is B2Dad as he did all the "Legwork" finding them! Were they big or little ones?? I'm working until 12 Saturday and will be home 12:30ish. You can try your hand on the trike then. Of course, if youm cook up the rest of them when we are around, you could probably force us to eat a couple...
  22. Now that may be a good deal, but check into the ones they are talking 15K for...
  23. Got my '09 "S" version (Like the midnight, extra chrome) for 17,300 but was given a good discount from my dealer. I think the retail for that model was closer to 19K... I think the '10 model looks tacky to say the least. Maybe if you can loose the flame job it would be a nicer ride...
  24. Hi Dave, sorry I missed this post. It s a Hannigan conversion, and you can see pictures on my "We're BAAAACK" thread...
  25. Wow!! IK know most of those people!! Cqn't wait for the next ride!!!!!
