  1. Did you save a souviner from it Larry???
  2. Photoshop??? No, that was taken from my front window this AM, it's real...
  3. Thanks Don, I'll give them a try!
  4. As a matter of fact progressives are on my winter "to do" list! For us 3 wheelers it actually helps out the front end oscillation issue but that is another story! As PGunn (yes I do remember the TV series) mentions when flying down the freeways at 70+ MPH (120+KPM) 2 up towing a trailer the front brakes seem very inadequate in the stop power department!!
  5. Oh, the inhumanity of it all!!! God save us all!!!!!
  6. There ya go Lewis!!!
  7. And you will get p[lenty of advice here, some of it even right!!!
  8. The MK2 is not as easy as the MK1 due to the angled arms that mount to the rear frame. You can still come up with 4 metal bars to extend the bolt holes back. If you get fancy you can use long screws and locking nuts to act as studs and use another set of nuts to mount the trunk onto those "studs" whixch will move the trunk back as far as you dare move it...
  9. All reet!!! I get an extra hour of retirement!!!!!:banana:
  10. Joe, do yourself, or the next person, a huge favor and replace those phillips head screws with hex head bolts of a decent hardness...
  11. Fleabay Joe! Next time make sure you heat up the scrrews thoroughly before trying to remove them...
  12. Mraf spelled backwards is "Farm." Funny...
  13. Allen, I now TOTALLY understand your user name...
  14. Exactly!! Now add the extra weight of the Hannigan trike conversion and see where I was coming from when I started this thread...
  15. I've seen worse, but the whole front end will need replacing! Triple tree could have been tweeked as well...
  16. Now THAT's gonna give some stop power!!!
  17. Good Friday Morning faithful readers, hope you are all well and recovering from the wrath of Sandy. Here's today's version of AS THE WHEELS TURN! As we left Bongo and the gang Sandy was in the distance and Bongo was in the process of organizing a huge costume party for all the Ventureriders that could make it! He got on the phone and the internet and contacted as many members as he could. He posted on Ventureriders, the Ventureriders facebook pages, and sent PM's to everybody on his friends list on the site. He started to call any of the Ontario and New York members that he had the phone numbers for. Hew even called Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania members. Within a few hours many members dressed as gangsters began to show up! There was Relic, Gambler, Run-in-bare, Sleepy2, Brick, Evan, The Hat, The Count, Darthandy, 1 Canuck, Dunvillesteve, Greener, Gunkylump, Chabacheka, Sunman, and dozens more. Shortly later Bongo's real reason for forming this M&E began to arive, the WNY Crew! You would be amazed at their costumes, or very afraid! In the meantime Bongo had reviewed the expansion plans. The surprising thing was the inclusion of both a pizza parlor and a donut hole!! Hmmmm, what was this list of ingredients for both... Suddenly Bongo was interupted! What interupted Bongo? Will the restaurant have enough food and drink for this crowd? When will the Storm hit? Stay tuned for possible answers on AS THE WHEELS TURN!
  18. Don't tell me Carbon One is riding already...
  19. Yes, '83 was the only "different" dash, but the '84 and '85 hasd the cruise light on the tach as opposed to the MK2 having the handlebar cruise lights. The Vacuum unit is the same, just mounts different on the MK2 fairing frame. Just out of curiosity Wayne, why are you switching?? Myself I just wanted the cool lights on the handlebars...
  20. Going to try I-77 to I-81 tomorrow, hope we don't hit snow...
  21. Yah! The wiring harness is a little different for the MK2 and the vacuum mounts a little different on the fairin g frame but it is doable. I think the controller module is different as well, but it shouldn't be that much of an issue. I started to convert Goldie at one time but never finished it...
  22. Leo, I would be more worried about the physical activities causing the floaters! Take it easy, cleaning up isn't worth doing damage to your eyes!!! Enjoy the cruise as much as you can!
  23. We are presently in Boca Raton FL in the cage. We aren't leaving until tomorrow but definately are not taking the same way we came down in which was thru Beckley WV which appears to be the epicenter of the snowstorm!! We pretty much plan on taking 3 days to get home. Thanks for the heads up!
  24. So then Arcade is in good shape then? Good news!
  25. We'll be coming into NY via I81...
