You know how I feel bro, we love you folks and were glad that we came down a day early and were able to spend some time before the masses showed up. It always amazes me the folks that show and the great time that everyone has. Thanks again for your hospitality and we'll come back down and go RIDING this time
-
Thanks for the update Don, your in our thoughts and we'll do our best to convince the man upstairs that you need to be with us a while longer. Take it easy and dont push it, give your body the chance to recover and heal....were here for you bro.

Thats a good question, probably not many folks would even know to report it to the proper authorities. My biggest problem is not nessecarily the people who run them unknowingly, but the damage they could impose say in a group ride if someones tire went out and cause a pile up.

Jeff, I am so glad that you like the bike, I am a picky rider and like to have everything top notch on the machines I work on. I ran out of time to get all the little nuances done with the bike. But I know she's a strong runner and I doubt you will have problems with her. Thank you and Mini for all you both do, it was a hard secret to keep at times and I'm glad that you were surprised. We love you bro and you are deserving of this gift, thank you for accepting it with all of us there.....be safe my friend.

I'm going to come right out and be cantankerous here, This is the 5th person I have met personally or is a friend of mine that has had problems with Metzler 880's I know many of you run them, and that is your choice, but the tires are JUNK! Your taking your life in your hands when you run them, I know what coming off a bike at 75 mph feels like because of rear tire failure. Metzler should be hung out to dry with these POS tires....end rant!

Top 10 Reasons To Go To Freebird's Maintenance Day!
Squidley replied to Yama Mama's topic in Watering Hole
It was great having you folks there Peg....we'll have to do it again soon -
Good to hear you folks made it safely, we pulled in here at the house about 4:30pm and 30 minutes later the heavens came down. Poured hard for about 10 minutes and some wicked wind, now it's just muggy It was great to see you folks again and I'm still laughing about or supper at Pizza Hut

Jeff, I can sincerely say that it was our pleasure to be able to have you with us up north here. I have waited a long time to meet face to face with you and it was great to be able to talk with you besides being on the phone. The door is always open here too my friend, this wont be the last time we see eachother I too would like to thank everyone involved either directly or indirectly with the Secret Squirrel Project. To all the members that through mass emails kept this a secret, it is very much appreciated, Muffin didn't have a clue as to what he was getting. It was the best Maintenance day we have been to and I absolutely enjoyed everyones company and seeing new faces and some very good old friends. We'll get the pics off the camera this week and put some up....BTW has anyone seen Muffin

The clutch is very sensitive as to how it's put back together. There are 2 notches that are on the clutch plates that all have to be aligned together and there is a specific location that it all sits in the clutch basket. I dont know if you have a manual but if not I would invest in one as it outlines the procedure pretty well. My cell # is in my profile, call me and we can walk you through it if you can't get it going.

Nothing special, automotive pain works just fine on our plastic, it's all in the prep work before you paint.
