Installing ISO GRIPs
Squidley replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
On the bar ends, I didn't install my back on my '99, I didn't like them anyway. I noticed no adverse effects from leaving them off and both my '99's didn't have them on 'em. -
You'll probably want to go to the coils in the front. You need to take the gas tank off and they will be up by the triple tree on the frame. I'm not sure which lead is +or- but I know others will chime in that have done it.

Joe is around, but I know that he's busy long before the 4th gets here as he's in the planning mode for all of his endeavors. I just looked and it says he was on July 2nd, so he's cool...probably just real tired and hard of hearing right now

It was very nice to see you Nancy and I too thank you for coming 3 hours out of your way to see us. Kenny is a good young man, Marks legacy will continue on through him. It was surprising to see the resemblence when Mark was a young man. I really enjoyed the photos also, not a side that many of us got to see....be safe sweetie and call if you need anything.

Best time to check air pressure
Squidley replied to a topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Tire pressures expand as they heat up from the friction of riding, so before you start riding or driving is the time to get the most accurate pressure. -
