  10. I'm with Walt here too Ron, I know you feel bad about the deployment and your guys, but trust me, they understand. The recovery is up to you, doctors always play that gloom and doom crap. Push it as hard as you feel comfortable with and enjoy the time with your sweetheart. All is as it should be, I'm finding this out the more that time goes on.
  11. Or you can be like Walts (Wes0778) avitar with the Duck and the big sledge hammer
  12. Lonna and I have the Dream Catcher, as a group we haven't decided upon it's continuing role for the rallys. We almost lost it after the '07 rally as the guy that had traveled the farthest has disappeared from the site and would have take our Dream Catcher with him We'll work on a solution as to starting up that tradition again. What I'm going to do now is take the images we have now and put up a poll. We'll decide what design we'll incorporate with the shirts. Give me a day and I'll make that post happen and we can make a decision as a group
  13. I have always used just a deepwell 18mm to get the plugs out. There is a trick you can do, take a small diameter piece of vac tubing and slide it over the small electrode end of the spark plug and twist it out that way, or a bit larger tube to fit snugly over the porcelin of the plug. After you break it loose it will usually spin right out.
  14. Now THATS Funny!!!!
  15. Nice workmanship there, I like it
  16. Good to see you back on Gunny, and like Dingy mentioned, I know of no differences in the 2 motors.
  17. Chief, just make the call and we'll make it happen my friend...looking forward to it Thanks Charlie, I know it didn't take long but the piece of mind goes a long ways
  18. I know this may sound dumb, fuel petcock turned on. Make sure you hear the fuel pump working, check all the fuses...this is just for starters
  19. All the best wishes for you and the entire family Dave, let us know if we can do anything more for you folks besides talking with the maker.
  20. 3 on the volt meter, if you hook up the amp gauge wrong you could burn the bikes wiring to the ground.
  21. Chief, Come on over to Houston, or I'll come over to SW Lousianne and we'll make those things happen....'nuff said.
  22. Chief, Your that much closer now, we got to get hooked up soon....welcome back home.

  25. Keiths advise is right in there, when I installed my driving lights the instructions said the same thing except to aim the beam 2" lower than the height of the light from the ground.
