I have noticed lately that the 404's do not last near as long as they used to, so I switched to E3s.

I have had it down all day, but putting it back up now. Any interest besides Yama Mama? C'mon guys, this is a great program. We can all sit and talk as if we were on a conference call...for free! It is great fun.

Congrats! When I can afford it, I plan on getting mine. I have several thousand hours on a simulator, which count for something when you go to get your license, but I want the real thing. Glad for him!!

My E3 is working great. 1500 miles so far, so it's still early. The little rubber "tits" are still on it, though.

I put together a basic tutorial to get you connected after you download and install. when you open it up, you will see this page... http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/TSconnect.jpg Click on 'connect'. Then you will see this page... http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/addserver.jpg Click on 'add server, and then name it ventureriders. Then, set the next page up as I have it here, with your name instead of mine, and hit connect... http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/Serverinfo.jpg

I have created a Teamspeak server just for Venturerider members. It's like chat, only you speak instead of typing. It works great, and as many people can be on it as I allow at one time. Great for getting on and just shooting the bull. You can get it at www.teamspeak.com . You'll want to download the client, not the server. You will need either a headset with microphone, or a microphone with speakers. It is completely free. If you download it, and need help setting it up, just PM me, or catch me in the chat room, and I will talk you through it. My IP is monty.servegame.org the port is 8767 no password for now.

The wrong gloves can make this worse. I find that the gloves with the gel in the palms help alot...reduces vibration.

Are there any local campsites? If so, are they usually booked that weekend too? We like to camp.
-
Where is the bike located? Maybe a member here lives close enough that they can run over and check it out for you before you make the trip.

Do they make pontoons, or outriggers for Ventures?

Go get a pair of these. One of the best tools I ever bought. They are designed to take out broken studs and bolts. Work VERY well. They have a different jaw than regular channel locks. http://www.channellock.com/acb/stores/1/410_-_9_5_inch_NUTBUSTER_reg__P34.cfm -
A sportbike coated my bike with his oil; how do I get it off?

Awesome works great also. You can get it at Wal-Mart or Dollar General. Best stuff I have ever used. -
Enjoy every day here while you can, and good luck over there. I know a guy here who maintains the birds at Ft. Campbell, and he has done some 1 year stints over there. I turned down a job with Raytheon, working on the optics, because I don't want to be over there all the time. I hope you have a safe trip. Be careful.

The poor guy helped battered children, and look what he gets....makes ya wonder, huh? No one is safe, no matter what. Just be as careful as you can be, and NEVER ride in a storm.

Sorry it took so long, but here it is. Bad cellphone pics, but maybe you guys can figure it out. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/0426091211.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/0426091211a.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/0426091212.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/0426091212b.jpg http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i274/13thAFMonterey/0426091212a.jpg

My heart goes out to you. I got here late, and don't know the details, but I can guess. Hopefully all of this can be behind you soon, and the rebuilding can begin. In my opinion, they should just turn him over to you, pull his pants down, and hand you a big dull knife. I have no tolerance at all for scum like that. Good luck.

Hope everything turns out for the best for you, and those two young'ns.

Good for her! A Honda Rebel is a good bike to learn on. I wish my wife was into riding. She is content to sit on the back with me, and just enjoy the sights. She loves to ride, just not drive. I used to race motocross, and she had her own YZ125. She could jump, hit the doubles, tabletops and whoops with no problem, and loves to ride offroad, just not on the street. I had gotten a really good deal on a Shadow 500 a few years back, so I bought it for her...but she wasn't interested, so I sold it.

85 here. I am already tired of mowing...and summer hasn't even started yet. I mow, then it rains, then I have to mow again in just a few days, or it gets away from me....sigh. We've had lotsa good riding weather here, though...except for the wind.

You did a really bad job around the lower fairing, but other than that, it looks pretty good, even the reflections. You did forget to do the top of the passenger backrest though...it's still tan.
