That's what I thought the plan was too. They must hook up to the trailer hitch somehow on account of the hitch ball. It's a convertible! :happy34:Congrat's Bob, Lookin' forward to the pics today. Later, Scooter Bob

Aux Lights - Extra Tapped Holes in Light Bar?
Scooter Bob replied to RedRider's topic in Watering Hole
.... Is she back on the road?? I actually had a bunch of mine apart this weekend. I bought a WOLO Bad Boys air horn at FF so not chromed. Didn't like the looks of it in place of the stock horn, so I started looking everywhere else. If I got rid of the AIS there would have been a spot in front of the engine next to the oil filter, and in the back right next to the shock. ( I later found out both spots have been used by others here). I just didn't want to pull that stuff off while still under warranty. Settled for inside the fairing next to the radio. While I was in there, I also ran the heated grip wires in there, and the wiring for the GPS and XM radio. One problem, the XM radio antenna is on top of the factory radio as others have done here. I lose signal when going North, so I'll have to go back in and find a better spot for that thing. Might just have to put it back on top of the handlebar behind my cup holder. It worked there for my FL trip. Looks like I'll be cuttin' and redoing the zip ties for the fourth time. Later, Scooter Bob Later, Scooter Bob -

Guy at work buying a $15,000 cassette deck
Scooter Bob replied to Scooter Bob's topic in Watering Hole
I Wish. Actually, the last two came from the dealer in Jefferson. They seem to want to sell these things down there. I was in there in the fall of 08 and they had either color of the 08's left and selling for $100 over their cost, just under $15,000. But they didn't want a trade in 05 with 50,000 miles on it at the time, so I've still got mine. Later, Scooter Bob -
It is not going to happen today or this weekend but will be happening soon. To bad this didn't happen in winter, instead of your riding season. Well maybe not, this way you can sneak out for a putt before you pull the rest of your hair out. Keep up the good work Don. Later, Scooter Bob

Yah, Karen just told me there's some bloomin' near where she works about 20 miles from here. But I'll wait a bit and give other's a chance...For now anyways... Mine's been gone almost as long as I've had the bike. X wife kicked it off gettin' on one night, found it and put it back on. Two weeks later, she kicked it off again, only this time she didn't say anything so it's gone, gone, gone. Now she's gone, gone, gone. But, Karen and I don't need it now with the stock mufflers back on. I think it just pushes onto a knurled shaft on the switch. Later, Scooter Bob

I just did most of those on the way back from Daytona a few weeks ago. Lots of scenery along I77 in the Virginia's. Be sure and take the East side bypass around Jacksonville, beautiful bridge there. Have a great ride, Scooter Bob

Twas a good time. I certainly learned a lot. And it wasn't as bad as Jeff made it sound, only one was more than .01mm under, and it was only .02mm under the spec. :think:And I think we didn't drop anything down to the lower end either!! I wish I would have remembered to take another pic of the record book after we added all the calculations and assorted chicken scratchin' Later, Scooter Bob -
Was the emphasis on the animals or the field? Did 120 miles today to help a fellow member with some wrenchin', and he only lives 30 miles from here. I was just wandering around lookin' for the right photo op, but nothing was going to make a good picture. So I settled for a farm a half mile from home, and they're in a feed lot, not exactly a field. Your call David. If you like it, the next target is... A picture of you and your bike and the Easter Bunny. Can be live, in costume, inflatable or solid ornament, doesn't matter just an Easter Bunny. Unless your DynoDon, then it has to be an Easter Bunny in Kentucky. Later, Scooter Bob

That's pretty bad, even for one that's not broken in yet. You should at least be up around 40 mpg. The only time mine ever checked out that low was when dragging around the X wife and all the crap she stuffed into the pop up camper trailer we were pullin' Later, Scooter Bob

Ya, we can check out the new lights in person too... Later, Scooter Bob

Got to be careful doing it, but I was sure one wasn't firing, so I checked exhaust pipe temp(with my fingertips) and the dead one you could hold your hand on when fully warmed up. And it had some loss of power, but would still run 65 mph without any trouble to the shop. Later, Scooter Bob

I don't care who you are, that's funny right there! Later, Scooter Bob

I run regular in mine all the time. It doesn't seem to mind the 10% ethanol at all either. As far as the smell, are you firing on all 4? I lost the #3 coil and it was just suckin fuel mixture in and pushing it out the exhaust and smelled like fuel when I parked it. Just a thought, Scooter Bob

I did everything possible to bring winter back!

OUCH!! He gotcha there I did just pick up the cord to the pine tree in the back yard this week. We just leave the rope lights on it and let the tree grow deeper around them. Later, Scooter Bob -
I'll be going on a ride to Fond du lac and back today. Plenty of country scenery along the way. And I've already got the new target in my head. Later, Scooter Bob current target still is... a picture of you, your bike, and a field with horses and or cows.. by David (painterman67)

Hey Jeff, Ya ha, I'll supervise since I just paid the shop to do mine cus I was afraid of dropping things into MY OWN engine. But I'd love to help work on yours! Seriously, I'd love to help out and know how to do this for next time. A second set of hands to write down clearance values while yours are full of oil can't be a bad thing either. I'll plan on 1 o'clock unless you call and tell me different 920aaa210aaa4652aaa. Later, Scooter Bob
