I hooked up an intercom on my bike so Karen and I can talk. It also has a a place to plug into a radio. I have tried a small radio and an I-phone, and I can hear them just fine, but Karen can't hear the radio at all. What would I need to do to make it where she can hear it? I bought it from Sierra electronics. I think it's IMC brand.

I don't see any place to mount a cassette player. -
How did it come loose? Did the thumbscrew fall out?

OK, I'm calling hi-jack...

Yeah, I saw that on their web sight & emailed them, but haven't gotten an answer back from them yet. I was hoping someone here with Vista had ran into the same problem.

I know several of you have the Go Pro cameras. I just got one and when I play back the videos there's no sound. I have Winders Vister (that's East TN. for Windows Vista). Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? TIA Jim

If you can find a reverse spiral drill bit the same diameter as the bolt (minus the threads) you can drill all the way through the bolt. First with a small bit then with the reverse bit. It may back out while you're drilling it. If not then just finish drilling it, then run a tap in to remove the bolt threads. If the bolt is that soft, it should drill pretty easily.

I rode all last winter. Karen and I rode to Asheville last winter, and I grabbed a towel from our room and told her I was going down to wipe the dew off the seat. When I got down there, it was ice instead of water, but I didn't tell her. It was a little brisk that morning, but it felt great not being caged

Yeah, I've been using Firefox for years. I used to have a lot of problems with viruses and other junk on IE. I have never even had my computer freeze with Firefox like it used to do with IE.

Wow, I bought mine last December for $280, they've gone up a lot in less than a year.

The kayak! The most fun I ever had fishing, was the time I was bass fishing in a canoe on Norris Lake. -

How's your kickstand?
eazyduzzit replied to Monsta's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Mine was exactly like that. When it would get wet the water would act as a lubricant and it worked fine. I finally got around to squirting some oil on it and it's good. I don't know the proper way it should be lubed. -
That's nothing. I have a cat that "followed my daughter home" 13 years ago. His name is Kitty.

My 09 Venture doesn't run right
eazyduzzit replied to midnite's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
After I re-read your post, it sounds like you're lugging it. I came off a V-twin too, and when I first got this bike I thought there was something wrong. When I'd come out of a curve and roll on it would thump/thump/thump like it had a bad set of points . After I got used to it though, it's hard to make it do it on purpose.- 19 replies

If it's not running right, I'm sure it would be covered, unless you're running diesel fuel or something... Where is McKenzie, TN- 19 replies

So you're the one who eats coucous! I was wondering who eats that stuff...

Mine used to roar like an Army truck with Bridgestones when I leaned in the turns. I just thought it was something I'd have to live with. As soon as I changed and put a new E3 on the rear, it was like a new bike. I couldn't wait to get the front one off and get an E3 on there too. Not only are they quieter, but it handles much better.

should the gas cap and tank get hot?

There's no reason for a dealer to try to discredit you. They get paid for doing warranty work, just like non-warranty. Sometimes it's it's just the arrogant personality of the shop foreman. I'm glad you found someone with enough sense to look at it. -
Hey Rocket, if you decide to implement all of these suggestions, I know a guy with a W900 Kenworth and a 45' van trailer for sale...

I guess I didn't ride much at all compared to you guys. I've had mine a year and only put about 7,000 miles on it. I've been remodeling my kitchen since Jan 1, so we haven't ridden hardly at all on weekends. Most of my miles have been to work and back and running errands and such. Maybe next year I can do more riding.
