Yes there is a water proof bag and much cheaper than the kurykans. Go to any big box hunting /camping store. For me its Gander mountain. Go into the canoe and kyak section. They have several different sises and different price ranges to pic from. The one we have has been down the Dan river dry more times than I can count and once wet when the canoe turned over on us. Everything inside was nice and dry. David

Listen to these guys. I am far from being considerd a mechanic. But buy going step buy step and doing exactly what I was told,(Thanks by the way to georges )I was eventually able to narrow down my problems to the battery. I could test the bettery after riding the bike and all was well. let the bike sit for a day or two and nothing. Good luck , David

As far as being to big for your wife as a starter bike , that should always be her call. I being the concernd husband myself, was a little upset when my wife put her money down on an 1100 shadow spirit. I thought it was toobig and too strong for her but its what she was comfortable sitting and standing on. Now shes in love with it and you couldn't buy it from her for more than she paid for it. As far as you teaching her. We all like to think that we know best and we can do that job best. For some that works ,but I knew that it would only end up in an argument and an unused bike if I tried. best thing I ever did was when I handed her the money for her birthday and told her it was for her motorcyle trainig course at the local college. Had to sav esix months for that and she actually cried when I told her what the money was for. Evidently she was not looking forward to me teaching her. I'm not a good teacher as I think I know more than I do. Now she teaches me what she learned. On the other hand she is a good teacher. good luck on the find and do all you can to make her safe. David

I've been looking for a while on the net and local dealors and the like. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I've seen these lights in pics on here but cant remember who had them. It was on a trailer and that is what I want them for. they are shaped like a directional arrow and appeared to be flush mount. If anyone could point me in a direction of where to find these I would be greatfull. I found one on ebay sold individually at $43 plus shipind and handling. That would be too much for a pair. Any help would be greatly apreciated. David

Never been to a wedding like this. My cousin just got married in Fayetville this weekend. The wife and I rode our bikes there from Mcleansville . Great ride as it was a little over 80 degrees for highs this weekend. As the wife and I rode our bikes the furthest to get there they put us second in the setup wright next to the grooms bike and the best mans bike. It was cool. I've never been to a wedding like this before but I like the idea. David

TCI designations
painterman67 replied to Snaggletooth's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Yeah, 90 to 93 is what I need . Wright now I'm using a borrowed tci from Muffinman. If he cant fix mine I'm gonna need a new one for sure and cant seem to find the one I need so far. Found plenty of the pre 90's but no luck yet on the 90-93. David
