    Well....after years of not riding I decided to find one and start enjoying the Stress Relief that I remembered. I went to all of the different dealers and looked at what was available. When I walked in the Yamaha dealer it was like a light was shinning on that Midnight Venture. I went over and admired it and dreamed that one day I would buy a motor like that. The next day I talked my wife into going to the dealers with me so she could see all of the choices. I had decided I would just buy something simple just to get back on the road. I took her to the Yamaha dealer and showed her the RoadStar and then took her over to the Venture. I told her....One Day I will own a motor like this. My sweet little bride looked at me and told me if that was what I wanted to go ahead and get it because I would never be happy with anything else. I had her sit on the back of the Venture......then on the back of the RoadStar. While she was sitting on the RoadStar she looked at me and said "I am not having this". The rest is history.....and I love the Venture. Mavrick

    About a year ago I bought a 32 channel recommended by the specialist at my ENT Doctor. It can be adjusted to eliminate wind noise etc. and tuned to the frequency where you have the loss. The price on mine was about 2500 so I opted to only get one. It has made such a difference I have never regretted spending the money. It fits behind the ear with a clear tube running into the ear. I do not remember the brand. Find one that can be tuned to your loss and it will be the best purchase you have ever made. Mavrick

    We are headed out in the cage on the 19th to Cloudcroft, NM. We have rented a lodge called Bear Ridge that really looks nice. Hope to enjoy some snow and mostly some time to relax. We are planning to check out the White Sands and some other attractions in the area. Can anyone in the area suggest anything we don't want to miss and maybe give us a snow report? From everything I have been able to check out it seems like the roads stay in pretty good shape but a first hand report would be nice. Thanks, Mavrick

    I have a 42" Sony in my living room and a 46" JVC (that my wife won at a conference) in the bedroom. Both have great pictures but the Sony is much sharper. I bought the Sony at Best Buy after shopping for prices. If you do not have a HD TV I think you will notice the difference and enjoy just about any brand. All the research I did before I bought indicated Samsung, Sony, LG, or Panasonic were the best brands. Mavrick

    Leroy, You are the MAN.......2004.......70,000 miles and you are from the North Pole......I am impressed. My 04 has 40,000 miles and I thought I was doing a lot of riding. By the way.....04 Midnights are the fastest Venture made!!!! Mavrick

    Eck is right about the ride through Kansas. Lots of straight....flat roads where you can see for miles and miles. You will never forget the fragrance of the feed lots as you are enjoying all of that fresh air. I enjoyed Dodge City and we camped in a camp ground on the west side of town. There is not a lot to see there and one visit was enough......been there done that now. Make sure you take the time to go to Ft. Dodge, KS while you are there. It is just a few miles to the east of Dodge City.
