Brad, Glad you and Lona are ok.....let us know if you find out anything interesting about the tires.....I also run Commanders and have been pretty happy with them but now I think I may switch to Avons.

Got to IKEA and buy a full sheep skin for $20.....use a leather punch to punch two holes on each side (one to the rear and one to the front) and run a small bungie cord behind the back seat and under the front seat to hold it down. The full skin covers both seats and makes a big difference.
I changed the plugs on mine a couple of months ago and started noticing a vibration about like you describe. A couple of weeks ago I bought another set of plugs and changed them out again. When I pulled the wires off the old plugs I noticed one of the wires was not seated very good. I put the old plugs in and made sure they were seated good and the vibration went away.
I am not sure if I had a bad set of plugs or the wires just were not seated good.
I have also heard you will get a vibration if you overfill with oil.
Hope this helps.

I just put a set of Michelin Commanders on my 2004 and it was like I installed power steering......it made a world of difference in the way the bike handled.
