So if you have a 12V pump and you remove the cig plug and just put clips on it do you need to put a fuse in one of the lines ? Keith

You may want to consider putting a flap on the front to avoid any rocks sneaking back and hitting your grill !! Keith

With only $50-$60 in parts that's a lot of labor.......I'd ask some more questions! Keith

I brought mine in for the first service only and it was around $200. I'm not sorry for doing it as it gave me peace of mind that they did the first service. At least if something came up in the future I had something to go back to them with. Since the first I have done my own work without any problems. I guess it all depends on the dealer that you are dealing with. I had a warranty issue and I overheard the new Service Manager asking the owner if they were going to do it or not....the comment from the owner was only if it was someone that deals with them and has had service work done there......so I try to keep on the good side of them in case I do have any issues down the road and support them when ever feasible. I find that the site is loading slower for me....not real slow but slower than before. Why is it that there will be 48 members signed in and 173 guests ? I've noticed the guest number is aways considerably higher than the members....is this an accurate count? Is it actually guests or is it something else that maybe causing a strain on the server? Don't get me wrong not making an issue of guests....just a thought! Keith

I find that the Allen head wrenches are always a little loose so I use a piece of heavy plastic over the tip of the wrench and that snugs it up on the screw. So far no stripped heads. Keith

I have the Hopnel Bib as well and I attached the wire clip from the tank to the side of it with a couple of rivets and a elastic to keep it from rubbing on the tank.....see pic's Keith

Someone posted these numbers awhile ago just for the knobs 4xy-88157-00 for the passenger cb push to talk button 4xy-88137-00 for the passenger volume control knob I had mine replaced last year and they replaced the whole unit.....not very well either...took a second trip to the shop to tuck the wires up inside instead of hanging down on the fender. I guess it took a few replacements before Yamaha decided to just replace the knobs and the tech did say that Yamaha weren't going to replace them any more. Keith

Al Just make sure you check the PTT button from time to time or Loctite it.....mine disappeared on a short trip one day so it may have been loose for awhile. Keith

Mine is removable as well....it has a plastic clip and you just turn the pouch 90 deg and it comes off. Keith

I picked up a pair of Black rubber gloves (dish washing type) and a pair of cotton liners. Total cost less than $2.00....work great and I won't be upset if I lose them! Keith

Don I was able to get as far as the Pay-Pal paying option but there wasn't anyway of putting a note on there so you would know what it was for or who it was from other than the E Mail Address used with PP. Unless there is a connection between the site and user name being tagged some how. And if its anonymous thats fine as well....just curious. Wouldn't like to see you burdened with more work than you already have been providing to this great site ! Thanks For All That You Do !!! Keith
