    I'm Not driving thru red.... no way. As mraf said sometime you get stuck in middle of intersection cuz some idiot decide to make right turn as sun he pass intersection. ....     Surfing on net bump into this product. Looks very interesting. City of Chicago already has 250 intersecions covered with those Cameras. Each time is $350.00, and is going strait to City budget.     Depend on which I Pod You have and how old is, battery life should be over 8 Hours. and its fully recharged in less then hour. I Dont have iPod connected to power source while playing, but i have cigaret lighter socket wired strait to MC Battery in my sadlebag.     Sick of PMS overhere too. This morning was -6*F with windchill way below -30 to -40*F. As Weather Man say next weekend will be around 40*F... I'm going riding even if i have to clean bike from salt next few days....I'm Sick of winter and PMS ( Parked Mororcycle Syndrome ). Hey Don Enjoy Hot tou and dont make to much bubbles.

Hope those informations are going to help our members, and just want to tell you, Amsoil is safe for any kind of close circuit cooling system. Here is quote from Amsoil Web site: "It can be used for seven years or 250,000 miles in passenger cars, light-duty trucks, vans and recreational vehicles. It lasts seven years or 750,000 miles in over-the-road diesel trucks. Also for motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles and closed marine applications. AMSOIL Antifreeze and Engine Coolant lasts longer than conventional products." As pheadrus said there, between 50 or 60 % In antifreeze favor it's almost doesn't make any difference. Just cuz Chicago Winter I'll go with 55/45 mixture, so nobody was right :smash2:

    Wow What A Elaboration... Thanks to all of you.... Didn't Know I'll open can of worms just about asking for antifreeze mixture. :bang head: Lutz, and Forrest you are both right. After reviewing Amsoil chart thats right 68 / 32 % mixture is ideal for even arctic circle temperature, but for Chicago most likely temperature is plunging in ~ -30 to -40*F which is becoming preaty close in Celsius. Amsoil is calling for ideal mixture for that temperature range, just over 50- 50%, and for hotter weather they call for even lighter mixture. Boiling point is interesting too, Higher mixture is boiling higher, so for stop and go traffic in summer days, I Guess higher mixture will do a better job. Don't know is higher mixture better taking away engine heat or what. How many galons are in Venture Cooling system? Thanks a milion Dan

    Just Bored and think to replace Antifreeze in Venture Cooling System, and get ready for nice weather rides. I Got one of Amsoil Antifreeze https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/ant.aspx , and they recommend to mix with Water in rate of 40, 50 or 60 % depend on region. Well Chicago have some arctic temperatures during winter, but over summer could be extremely hot too. So What is your experience with Coolant / Proportions. Should I Wait until Spring and use higher water grade. or just mix as directed on bottle? Little confused. this is my first time to change coolant fluid on Venture. I Know I'm never change coolant in my cars, and they works. What is your Recommendation. Thanks

    Sorry Scott, But Kit has a good point, Practice is King of safety, in most situations. Sorry for Rick's friend and wish him speedy recovery. Rick's Friend is made few bad decisions, to get on day trip and not become complete familiar with new ride. Emergency stopping is all about knowing well your bike, and their performance. I Don't have Rick's, or any mode on my venture, But I'm Spend some money for ERC Expirence Rider Course. In the Begining $185.00 looks to me as waist of money, but instructors are teach me exacly where was my weeknes, and on the end of course my filling was best $185 ever spent. Of corse You can doit yourself with "Ride Like Pro" DVD instructions, but thats not a same. Good Luck.

    OK, Let me bring this one on top. Who want to have lunch, on Sat Feb 9th, Or maybe Branch in restaurant before show. Food at show suck, and is overpriced. Hot Dog, or slice of greese pizza is about $6. There is couple good restaurants round Rosemont. Let me know and I'll make reservations.     Thats a way to go. My PC laptop is garbage after only 3 years, so finally I'm replace'em with MacBook from some fruit company.

    Whatever Squid said, I'll switch engine oil with synthetic motorcycle specific one. will perform better in hot weather , and prolong time between changes. and yeah dont forget filter. Coolant fluid should be changed too. Check your brake pads, and TIRES. Dont get last mile out of tires on long trips. Good Luck.

    Same Story as iPod. You have to return to mac to change a battery, and after few weeks replacement tools and batteries are all over web. They are made again big break through in computing buisines. Remote drive - remote disc- solid state drive - 802.11n...etc. To switch to MAC is way easeier than deal with PC. Average user will find simplicity to start and all software is working. Only one thing new switchers should take care when they are buying new Mac's are RAM Memory. More is Better.     I Can listen everything but Hip-hop and Rap. that stuff make me sick. Alternative music have a good stuff, but sometime some trash-metal band is classified as alternative. That's remained me of my father, when i was teen and listen Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Pink Floyd, he couldn't understand that music either. :rotf:

    What A global warming !!!! They call for -26* F ( -33*C) Here in Chicago by the end of the week. Windchill factor will be going up to -40*F. Good Time to check heated clothing. Who wants to go riding ? :rotf:
