Spankym and myself took a ride today to help Bongobobby remove and replace his front forks on his 1st gen. Emagine that...two second genners working on his bike....It was really fun to use a BFH and cold chissel on his bike...I'm really not sure if he'll ever get that thing back together ever again after we got done with it.....I have never seen so many bike parts scattered around like that..really can't say where they all came from or if we even gave them all back to Bobby..How were we to know that we wern't supposed to cut all those wires once the plastic was all off..he really wasn't all that specific about how we were to disconnect all those electrical lines.........He just said that we dont need them...by the way did you know that you have to save all the nuts ,bolts ,cotter pins ,washers etc..etc..when you take a front end off a first genner? We didn't..Don't worry Bob ..most of them can be found in the grass in the front yard..all except the ones I still have in my pocket....Oh well, I still don't know why Bobby was so upset today and why he said he had somewhere to go and we will have to finish this project another day...I was really getting into that repair stuff...We'll I'm sure he'll call us back when he has time to finish...Hey Bobby..."I ALWAYS WANTED TO FIX AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION" You got one of those?

Don, Glad to hear everything went good. The important thing is that you take care of number one.....Glad you kept us informed, but take it easy....we'll have all the time in the world to "catch up " when your feeling better....You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers......take care ................

Yeah, then when were done doing that we can install my new stebel horn on mine after we change out the plugs and drop all the fluids and reroute a line or two under my ferring.......then we'll talk wash and wax...:sign20:seriously... if you need a hand all you have to do is call me ,you know that....

Actually I was..... Knew it was gonna be cold.. didnt pay attention to the southern tier forcast..thats why I moved out of Holland 25 years ago...

Droped my bike off at Pioneer Motorsports Thursday for a set of new skins. The plan was to pick it up today with member Buffalo Bodnar..He was going there to pick up some safety chrome that had come in for him...Left here around noon for the 45 min. ride down..Little did we know that they were having a freak storm dumping around 6 inches of snow on them..........we deciced to take the back roads thru hill country to get there...HOLY C#@P BATMAN..Before we knew it we were in a middle of a white out and on an unplowed road...Buffalo Bodnar never saw the drift we were about to hit that sent us spinning out of control just while an oncoming car was approaching...ALL I can tell you that I am greatful for the manufacturers of "DEPENDS"..they really work...Good driving Ken:whistling:..we did make it to PIONEER and passed a couple of bad accidents on the way...hope no one was hurt in them....by the way , Kenny got his shinny new chrome and my ride is still sitting there.....I learned a very important lesson today...DONT GET IN A VEHICLE WHEN BUFFALO BODNAR IS DRIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotf:

Mine were on the wrong side too. Bought my 05 used in 07. Everything worked fine..But it always bugged me why they were oppisite of all the other rsv's I've seen....Later I bought a drivers backrest and when I went to install it ,I noticed the holes I was supposed to drill out were already drilled .. The instructions cautioned me about the two lines that cross and to be careful not to pinch them under the backrest bracket..I went nuts trying to find the lines that cross..they wern't there . Thats when I realized why my antenas were different AND THE HOLES WERE ALREADY DRILLED OUT.. The previous owner had installed a backrest and then removed it when he traded the bike in..He had changed the antenas so that the radio line didn't cross the other line..

As of tuesday ,My total loss was 54.8 lbs....I don't intend to quit yet..I want to see how much more I can lose by MD. I heard some rumor about there being CHEESECAKE at Dons....Now if Taters will just give me the keys back to her venture so I can get there........yep, still po'ed about that knee pad comment the other day...damn that beer 30 guy...:fnd_(16):

Cindy, I agree with the above post, most ADA's will sit down with you and share the information as long as it does not interfere with the case..Your DA's office should have a victims advocate which is there to assist you in any way..This is the avenue I would persue..good luck with this endevor and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...............
