  1. Sorry, I was reading between the lines, not after the lines. After having 6 Kids I could just feel where this was going, and I was going to have to stick around to keep everybody in cheque. I thought of a way out, and I think it might work.
  2. Ok now, let's be nice, Christmas is barely over and you guys are already at each other over your toys. All of you, into your corners until you decide you can live civilly together. In the mean time, I'll take out both scoots and decide who's is better etc. and when I come back my word will be final. While I'm gone you all clean up the mess you left from yesterday, paint the house, clean the garage, cut the grass, fix the pool, replace the shingles on the roof, tar the drive, weed the flower beds, and don't forget to go to work every day, I'll need the funds for gas don't forget.
  3. Ya, she got mad at me last year and promised not to speak to me for 3 months, It was heavenly bliss, had some one PM me, asking me how I managed it, he also wanted to be on the list. Didn't last for 3 months though, bummer.
  4. How about the rider that you neet that you are now following? Do you wave at him? Well you'll need to pass him first, so here in lies a problem. Will your bike be fast enough to get past him, or will he stay ahead of you if he rolls on some throttle? Well, if you're on a HWTB you might have second thoughts and just stay where you are and not be the friendly type and so forget about the all important wave. On the other hand, if you happen to have a 1200 for a power plant you could just touch the throttle a little, shoot past him and as you pull back in front of him the scoot might do the wave for you.
  5. Very very real for some folks, but thankfully my charge cards did not get used. We don't spend that much, too many dead batteries and off shore garbage.
  6. When you pull the diaphram cover off there is a wee little rubber O-ring at the bottom under the cover. It's easy to loose and if you are missing it, you'll have some trouble.
  7. I reached both coils from under the faring, wasn't all that easy but can be done. It is easier to do when you have the faring off but to do it again I wouldn't remove the faring. You have to remove the front wires first, then do the back ones before you install the front ones again.
  8. You've got it just about right, seems it should work because the gods are all asleep this time of year. Try Flatout MC for a price of $55.53 ea and they a great to deal with. http://www.flatoutmotorcycles.com/fiche_section_detail.asp
  9. Had dinner last night, and it was super delicious, even got left overs for today: 8 week aged Triple A Prime Rib, Honey Spiced Ham, Gravy, Cauliflower, Carrots, Corn, Smashed Potatoes, Real Whipped Cream on top of a jello mix for dessert, Wine from somewhere unheard of, Sweet Dinner rolls, and real good company. WHEN"S LUNCH????? You all enjoy yours today.
  10. We haven't decided yet, but one of these days we will and then we'll let you in on it. In the mean time, keep shoveling!!!!!
  11. Glad to hear that all your problems seem to be fixable, at least for now, but pain is not a nice thing to live with. Enjoy the time you have together, love each other, and don't forget to talk to the Creator about your problems. Carl & Marca Marcarl
  12. We could save them even more money if we put it on our own scoot first, tried it out to make sure it works well, say for a short period of time, maybe a year, and then ship it to them. Then it would be a used part, no tax, and we could be assured that they get good working parts. After all, what is family for????
  13. Sounds like a real good approach to me, I'm out of here for now, but will stay posted.
  14. Now look what you have started It's winter, and mostly we're parted. For us it's the same as mostly for you We're stuck in a freeze, and a little bit blue. For Venture friends are slow to come round If weather was warmer we not be snow bound. It's good to be here on this site all connected I'm glad that year last, it was resurrected. Great folk we have found to be so surrounded By borders we're not even slightly so bounded. We're gowing each day and large is the number Our boss in not one so taken by slumber. So thankful we are to be such a part Of a family close, that has a HUGE HEART.
  15. What a rip, and I thought cheesecake was north of the border this year. Ah don't you all worry non, we already had our fill the first of Dec. She knows who to look after first and foremost.:happy65::happy65:
  16. Best rates I could find last year was at Dalton Timmines in Ancaster, they insure through Kingsway but were $200.00 cheaper than my former broker who also insured through Kingsway, go figure. Next year I'll look again, seems deals can be had in this business. Carl
  17. Aren't you supposed to be on holidays? ENjoy yourself. Now who's gonna make the call?
  18. I'll give them a call tomorrow and let you know the results, maybe they are just too busy for Christmas, we'll see and report back Carl

  22. Now back in time when you folks wanted to get rid of the British, who were the ones who fought the best?
  23. So you really want to be friends Huh, Ride some for me too, but ride safe, I don't want to be injured or have to clean my scoot.
