You are in our thoughts and prayers, that you may find peace and comfort. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

He sure did do'd it. Was laying down for my after lunch snoozer when there's a knock on the door and I think it must be a boozer, but in reality there stood Mother!!!!!out in the cold so I let him in,,,,, least thing one could do for somebody's Mother. Actually I think he wanted to see how Scamper and Blondie were making out with Little Tike but then when we got to where the action was, we forgot all about Little Tike and talked only of the heart and legs of Scamper and how to get Blondie to communicate better. He also brought some surgical tools with him and said that it would work better and easier than a large screwdriver and sledgehammer so I graciously accepted the donation for the operation of the respiratory apparatus. After that, he threatened to clean out my shop with all the meat he bought, but I suppose he was just thinking that the weather may be getting worse and he may need some more weight for traction. I thought to slow him down a bit on his purchases, but then thought of how much Ohhhhh Sherry would appreciate the gifts of love and so decline to voice my concern. Sure is nice to have such folks doing things for each other, Thanks Mother. Carl

hey I only work on one at a time, Wayne gets to work on his own and have his own fun. I just lent him some room and got myself some nice company, well that could be debated, but looks don't count so much when you get older, like over 60, so I'm practising.:whistling:

Ya them little mantels take 1500 watts to run, lots more than a home coffee pot, but about the same as a commercial coffee pot, they didn't tell you that though, either way 1500 watts, I'd sooner use a micro furnace, works good to but still uses 1500 watts. An often overlooked area for heat savings is in the basement, ya I know, you don't heat the basement, but it is true. An insulating contractor told me that the last time I needed him when we put on our addition. Do a super job of sealing up the basement, especially the plate area where the foundation meets the walls, so we sprayed ours with foam to seal it tight. What this does is prevents and air coming in to replace the warm air going out the top so to speak and it works. Our new basement is not heated and is not cold either. We also don't supply any heat to the new part, 24x30, and it's not cold either, although there is an open area to the old part and so is not isolated as such. Our heat bills have not gone up much at all even though we almost doubled the size of our house. Just go down into the basement on a cold day and find out where all the cold is coming in and then seal it up, not just insulate, but seal it so no air can get through. JMT Carl

Hey what are Butchers for???????Come on down, we'll down size the problem right pronto. Don't thank me, I'll just do you the favour.

If you had a first gen it would be right in front of you, but I think on the second gen you end up sitting on it.

I'll be just plain happy to do what I'm doing now, except be able to take a little more time off in the good weather. Some day when I gets old enough, so that I can no longer do these things, I'll worry about what I'll do then.

That's the ones I would go with, mind you we don'r wear any here at all, we find they dull the knives and then things go from bad to worse pretty fast, but then we do this all day and sometimes all night, so that would change the story somewhat. I find the safest way is to keep a sharp knive and when it gets even a little dull, just take a minute to sharpen it up again. In your case, where you would not have the experince etc. go with Squids choice. The stainless ones are a PITA, better that they used to be but still a real pain.

Did you know that all that perifinelia can be transfered to the new helmet?

Well been waiting for this day, and glad to hear it finally came round. Hope to able to visit again one of these days. Healing will speed up the more you heal and being home is probably one of the best healers there is.

Now why would Charlie think it's a picture of Redneck, would it be the size of his nose?????? or maybe the shape of his 'chest'???????? or maybe just his present outlook on life????????

Yep tried them first, but a 25 year old can be pretty tough, even though he's awfully handsome. Found that a friendly persuader and a long handled driver of screws worked wonders. The persuader was for the scoot and the driver to ward off and dogooders who would have done it the hard way. If you think that it help any you'd be most welcome. The crescent wrench I use is a 15" so it hammers quite well, the pliers are of the old type and somewhat worn, so most of the screws and nuts are nicely round when they come out, makes it easy to hammer them back in with the crescent later, doesn't matter too much how long they are or how thick, they all look the same when you're done, real nice for making the scoot look slim and fast, if you know what I mean.

I hunged 'im in the cooler for the weekend, but then the inspector showed up and told me to get that wild game out of there, so we put 'im back in the barn, fed 'im some hay and told him to leave Blondie alone, one little tike is enough.

Have faith my friend, come spring you'll need high octane just to be able to get to the coffee shop in time to see me leaving again. Scamper is resting now, but there are indications that a revival is in sight. Swifty should be here tomorrow with a coffee can if my predictions are anywhere's near correct, which often they're not.

Did a lot of that last year, how do you think 2nd gear got muzted up.

Oh Oh, look out everybody, someone here on the take, guess they have sat down and figured it cheaper to dine out (at other peoples houses) than to eat at home, or maybe it's the cooking:stirthepot:, either way, someone went out and bought a trailer so they is going visiting more often, better stock up, I just might join them.

Dicided that the time had come for the major operation. With a little help help from a friend (Wizard765) we removed the heart of the machine. Second gear was to be fixed!!! HuH? Where do you find second gear? Couldn't be that hard could it? Must be underneath,,,,,,,,, so let's turn this baby upside down on the workmate and start taking out those little round things,,,,,,,,, yep that works,,,,,,,, oh no what's all this,,,,,,, some forgot to drain the blood first?,,,,, nah just some left overs, thank goodness because you got to put that stuff back in again you know, otherwise it won't run so good,,,,,,,what did you do with all those little sewing up dudads,,,,,,,,,lets put them in separate baggies so we can tell wher they came from,,,,,,,,,,,,now lets see which baggie goes where,,,,,,,,,,,,oh it don't matter, they all fit soemwhere,,,,,,,,,,here, throw them in acoffee can,,,,,I hear that works real good,,,,,, ooooh, lala,,,,,,, we're supposed to make sense of all this?,,,,,,, let's put it back before we forget where it all goes,,,,,,,,,let's just take one more layer off, maybe it will be self explanitory,,,,,,,ya high hopes, now we got more stuff on the bench, how can we work on anything this way,,,,,,,,what's all these pookie looking things,,,,let's read the book,,,,oh that's the gears,, look we found them,,why didn't they mark which ones were second, they all look first to me,,,,,,,,maybe there is another layer that's why they call it second,,,,,I always wondered,,,,,no we did it,,,, they all slid off just like that,,,,,,,,,,did you take a picture to see which one goes on first,,,,,there must be a forward and backwards,,,,,someone posted that he turned it around and it worked just fine,,,,,,,,,,ya but that was the washer not the whole motor,,,,, you don't think it will work the same,,,,,,,after you're done with it you'll need more coffee cans,,,,,,,,just think of all the help I can be to others who are missing parts,,,,might just have the right one left over,, I know, enough of all this, you want pictures RIGHT? First 2 rows are Scamper, or what's left of him. Last three pic, are Goldie undergoing a facelift.

You used to be on the site the most, but then we started making fun of you, and, then you bought something odd and different. Soon after that we didn't see you post as much, fact is, sometimes a whole thread would go without any of your input.:happy65: Now lets see,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,how to get at Beer30:think:

If they are to the point where they are wore that bad? why are you wearing a helmet, just for looks? not for protection I gather. You would really look cool laying there with a pretty helmet that didn't stand up to the crash.
