  1. I use diesel oil and MotorKote and seem to have no problems, can make it slip no how.
  2. Carl's back for one week, haven't rode too much lately so will try to stay in the saddle for a while,,,,,, YA!!!!!
  3. Seems like you two had a great ride, and a good time. Sounds like we all enjoyed having you,, and those who didn't must have forgot to post.... can't imagine though that that even happened, except if somebody got moosed too often. Have a great flight home, and hope to see you two again. We'll try to look after America wile you're gone.
  4. You talking about me again?
  5. We will be worried over you and so ask for healing, both physical and for the spirit.
  6. We'll pray for comfort for all of you and that through all this you might find a blessing as well.
  7. Ran out?
  8. Well at least you had the opportunity to find out what a REAL bike is like:stirthepot:, but if you enjoy a Harley more,,, that's your choice,,, enjoy it.
  9. Wasn't my fault,,,,heck Charlie was here at the time,, I was an angel.
  10. Starting to sound like fun already, almost ideal,,,,,,,now for approval! So what's to do there anyways,,,, besides Darien Lake, Letchworth, Finger Lakes, Niagara Falls, Beautiful Roads and we could all be together,,,camping and hotel.
  11. Some little inner voice told you to gear up? Glad you listened and even gladder that you managed to come through it in good shape. Time to count your blessing.
  12. Now you got me thinking,,, I mean just thinking,,,,, how many rides to NY would it take to organize, and how many times could I get you over the border. Need to have camping and hotel close together,,, or cabins or a big house with lots of yard and a swimming hole, and a good cook to make breakie. HUMMMM you got me thinking!!!! Sounds like it could be a fun time.
  13. Going with the wind wouldn't have been too bad, except for getting a little wet,,, but going against the wind, now that would have been a different story.
  14. Sure glad we didn't ride last week,,, got just a little wet at times and breezy enough to blow the windshield off.
  15. We won't make it again this week,,, we will be in Brechin to work on my daughter's new house. Hopefully we'll be back by next week,,,,, in a way this really sucks, but it's for family and that don't suck at all.
  16. Can't get any stranger than you,,, and I still talk to you.
  17. Hey, the days not over yet,,, maybe he's waiting until dark so he doesn't see all the mess he has to deal with.
  18. As we do for our whole Venture family, you will be included in our prayers.
  19. Guys name is Gord, he's from Chatsworth,,, nice sort, told him about us, but he likes it alone,,,, maybe, told him we were good company,,,,, so maybe
  20. On a quick look there are some very close similarities.
  21. That's my luck as well,,,, I never do anything to the battery,,, but it keeps going, going and going and it's not even a Duracel.
  22. The story. This scoot belonged to 'joe' at least we'll call him that. He was killed in a car accident last fall. Looked after his bike fairly well, but liked to ride more than doctor it up with bling. His wife thought a relative wanted it, but finally he made up his mind and said no. So now I thought to give her some input,,, one thing I told her: the longer it sits the less it's worth. I rode it, and it rides fine, but the steering is a little loose. Tell you, when I got back on my 85,,, that was home,,,,no I don't think I switch.
  23. A bit of a surprise for me,,, I couldn't believe what rolled into and then out of my driveway,,, it took me a minute,,,ya
  24. 2003 with 58000 km on it. Took it out for a ride, seems to ride just fine,, not as nice as a 1st gen, but then it's not a first gen. Steering seemed a little loose, that all. Didn't see any serious marks or breaks. Needs a good cleaning.
  25. Got all my auto insurance with Economical Mutual, they even offered to insure my scoot. I took them up on it, seeing as they were the cheapest going,,,,,,,less than $500 for PL and PD
