  1. Check anything else you might have attached to the front end,,,, front fender, brake calipers, lights, extra chrome.
  2. It would have been faster if it weren't a Harley, but the 2nd gens are slower as well. Don't you just love all the sympathy you get from the VentureRiders?
  3. Mom's are kind of Special people,,we all only have just one and it would be awesome to have had ones Mom for 93 years,,, my Mom was 94 when God took her home. If your Mom is going to a good place and she is comfortable to go, let her go in peace,,,, operations at 93 don't always do a lot of good and more often than not make life quite miserable for the patient. Sometimes the only benefit is the doctor's pocket book, I'm not saying this is the case, just a possibility. In the meantime we will pray for guidance and wisdom so that you all can make the right decisions for her. Keep in mind that this is all about her,,, and should not be about anyone else. God Bless Carl
  4. Come on Steve, get that house finished up so you can turn the heat back on,,,, your brain is starting to freeze. I liked it though!
  5. Carl is in for Saturday,,, and Monday as well. I can't believe this,,, a long weekend and I get 2 days riding in?????? Don't tell Marca!!
  6. 2nd gen is he same as a 1st gen.
  7. Fall foliage colour in Algonquin Park has peaked. Heavy rain and some snow this week has increased leaf fall showing bare branches in the canopy especially in the western portion of the Highway 60 Corridor. Fall colour in the eastern portion of the Highway 60 Corridor and much of the later changing sections of the Park is still good. Red, orange and yellow are the dominant colours remaining in tree canopy. Good fall landscape viewing is currently possible and is expected to continue unless the Park receives extremely heavy rain, snow, or strong winds which might cause widespread leaf fall. See the latest fall colour images on Facebook.

  9. That makes for a looong day, 6 hours to get there and you haven't done the park yet. Add about 2 hours for stops and that makes 8 hours, now you have to come back home. You'd best be off on Friday to rest up. From what Evan said, Algonquin is bare now anyways.
  10. Shows how much you know about Carl. Rode Southwood in June and yes it was all tore up and they were doing a tar and chip thing. But this is Oct and all that should be done by now, could be a good time to find out.
  11. Kind of hard to say without really being there. Could be a loose bolt or two from the oil pan, or maybe a bad seal on the shifter. Does it leak right on top of the collector? There's not much right on top of it to leak really. It's probably coming from in front of the collector, maybe a loose drain plug, cracked drain hole or stripped plug, sensing unit for oil level,, or if you happened to bottom out on a curb or something, it could be your oil pan has a crack in it. Just my thoughts, before others have better ideas.
  12. Are you buying?????
  13. Just park it where it's dry and clean, you'll want it next week anyways. For the mouse poison, keep in mind that it attracts mice and so if you don't have any now, you will then, dead ones and live ones. If you have live ones now, keep your poison away from the building.
  14. So what does that make me????? chopped liver????, oh wait, maybe I'm not one of your friends,,,, whweeeo, had me worried there for a minute!
  15. We could do Muskoka,,, Southwood Road, 632, 141, Tallyho Swords, 518, and then scoot back on the 400. We could also do Thornbury, (Blue Mountain,Collingwood) and the Beaver Valley. Probably more color.
  16. We're headed out on Monday,,,, somewhere???? Marca says its' time to ride, so Saturday would make an excellent practice day,,, just to get ready so to speak,,,,, where and when?
  17. You know you'd be welcome here anytime,,, and you could even bring your 'vette,, and the bike,,, then we can fix it right,,,, just let me know.
  18. Ya,, if we could only stay strictly with bike related stuff and not garages,,,, oh wait,,, I guess that might be considered bike related. Sorry Dan.
  19. Maybe it sounds like you have some wires wrong. I would check the fuse block. One side should have power when the key is turned on, the other side no power with the fuse out and the key on. Normally the left side would have power but the right side not.
  20. Are you sure you have the ignition in the acc position????
  21. Now you got my appetite up,,,, when, where and what time,,, I'm ready!!!!! As far as Wed are concerned,,, it's still bike night, but riding time is getting somewhat short,,, now if I was riding something different, I would only have to make it to the nearest 'Timmies',, but real riding??? in the dark???? naahhh,,, but Saturdays is good I think,, most times!
  22. Information overload!!!!! I had other things in mind,,, but,,,,,,,
  23. I just thought you were busy trying to pull that foundation straight.
  24. Did Yvette read that?
