  1. I am in prayer for you both! I am asking HIM to keep you both around and healthy, because we still need you! My GOD is my friend, and so are you, we friends need to stick together. Please feel my love and support, and allow GOD to touch your heart, as HE can and will.
  2. YES! as soon as possible. I love my old '99 RSV! Then I would start customizeing it like the one I have. (That would take awhile, though) Best bike out there! (for my needs.) I love the comfortable way she cruises. Might upgrade though, maybe get me a 2000 red one.
  3. Beautiful! It really looks good!
  4. Kent, No matter what anyone says or thinks, you are a vital part of this site, and a great friend! Thanks for your help in the past, and your friendship. I really missed seeing you at Don's yesterday, and look forward to our next conversation!
  5. One day at a time, for 9 1/2 yrs now. Sobriety gave me my motorcycle back! Too dangerous otherwise.
  6. I have a diamond R center stand that I don't use anymore. Used it 1 season and bought a lift adapter that goes there. It is chrome, with nothing wrong with it. Pm me if interested. I'm in the Indianapolis area, but could ship.
  7. I agree 100% with Jeff! It is not appropriate to comment on someones choice of gear whether they are injured or not. It is your own personal choice, and own level of risk. Many of my friends think my risk level is to high because I ride at all. We all decide, how much risk is our fun worth. I could get political, but I will stop there. I will say that freedom of choice is one of the many items that our country was founded on. I made my point---now I will read. Thanks for listening.
  8. just got on here to check the posts ( been gone a couple of weeks), and WHAMMO I read this. I am SAD! I can't believe it. Not the good guys! Rose,Dan and kids, I pray for only the very best for you, and will keep praying. Rose, we are in Cicero, IN now, and I will be happy to help with Anything you need. My cell # is in my profile. Please call for anything. God is already at work on Dan's healing, and I will keep praying for more.

  10. HMMMM! What should I say??? I thought I'd be nice and bump it back up to the top so some of the other "TRAITORS" could maybe help ya !!!!! Pretty soon we'll have to change the name to VentureWingers or WingahaVentures.
  11. Don't know, but BUMP. Maybe someone else does.
  12. Thanks Kevin and Sue, and a BIG thank you to Darren and Debbie (93 Venture) for the hospitality!!!! I had a very nice time during my short 2 day stay. The convenience of a place to stay, with you guys, is very much appreciated. Good rides, good rally, good people! what more could I ask for!!!
  13. Thanks Guys -- I'll see you soon!!!!!

  16. Kevi, I have to work Thurs morning, so I will not be able to stay for the dinner. Also SevenFour layed his bike down last week so he won't be able to come. (He is OK!) Hope that helps with the count.
  17. Don't forget about Rick Butler out in the shed doing seats. Thanks Rick for helping so many people's butts feel better! Your seat mod is a great improvement to the ride.
  18. Yep, I was there --- That was eye sweat for sure. Freebird is WAY to tough to be caught "tearing up". Well, Maybe a piece of dirt blew into his eyes??? Either way it was Very Cool to see him like his jacket, and be surprised by his friends, that much.
  19. OIL ??? We don't need no stinkin oil!!!!
  20. Seaking, Just a thought, but you might check the vacume caps and hoses on your carbs. They have a bad habit of hardening, so that when you take them off they crack. Then if you put them back on they leak. They are very cheap at the auto parts store if they are hardened. I usually replace them when doing carbtunes. (the caps) If the hoses are hardened, it is usually only at the ends, so cut off about 1/4 inch of the end at shove them back on. A very quick test is to run the engine, and spray some carb cleaner in the area of the caps, and listen for engine noise change. If the cleaner is getting in it will change the idle. I don't know if the vacume leak will effect mileage, but it seems like it could. Hope that long post helps you or someone else.
  21. just got my cancelation letter from Oberlin Inn today. Not happy! Have done nothing yet.
  22. just sent paypal. Can't wait to pick up the shirt. Thanks.
  23. I did this mod from Carbon One's post last year. It is a very good safety mod. The engine guards are strong now and support my weight on the highway pegs, as they should. If it ever went down, the engine guards would actually guard the engine! I highly recommend doing it. It is not very difficult to do, and doesn't cost too much.
  24. my 99 RSV has 62,000 miles on it. Runs and looks like new, fantastic machine!
