  1. Lewis has there been a date set yet for Vogal? If there was I must of missed it. Never to early to get the calendars dates set up you know. This next summer I plan on attending more VR rallies and forgo others I attended in the past. Larry
  2. I'm just glad Lewis is doing it again, renamed or not. I want to finish out the entire rally with the shiny side up. Missed Muffinman's get together last year and don't want to miss this one for sure. Joyce and I really loved the Vogal State park setting. Larry
  3. Oh great another time waster. I love it. 1st time 83 sec. Second time 35 seconds - decent Larry
  4. I had the entire front of the bike apart with wiring completely disconnected for 3 months. Never lost any of the computers memory. Don't remember if the radios memory was effected thou I tend to think it might of been as I think you need constant battery power to retain it's memory. Can't do nothing for your memory. Larry
  5. Here's a heads up that I have the lift adapters available again. While the remodeling project isn't completed 100% I did manage to get a few built while waiting on deliveries. Larry
  6. :stirthepot: Well what you waiting for? Get that order in. Thanks anyhow for the good words. Larry
  7. Check in the 2nd gen classified section on the last page. Here's the link http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showcat.php/cat/7/page/2 Any info you need that's not there then either send a e-mail or pm thru the site here. Scott2007's quote: Whats the difference from this one to the one that is on EBay for 55 dollars? As noted the guy copied a earlier version of my lift adapter. Since then I have improved the basic design as well as offering the Freestanding model as mentioned by N3FOL. My prices including shipping to any place here in the 48 States in the US. I also ship to Canada but have to charge to cover extra shipping fees. Glad to hear I have so many satisfied customers too. No one has asked for a refund yet. Larry
  8. Just say when and we'll invade the place enmass. That ought to get the towns attention. Larry
  9. Regardless of the bike, I do think it was a HD Road King, it appears the guy was running from the LEO, running red lights etc and he tapped the bike much like they do cars. As soon as the guy regains his feet he was off and running. Still got caught. Looks like he got what was deservered. Larry
  10. Great idea Brad. My vote is to flip the pins, shirts and what not right back to St. Judes. Larry
  11. Squidley this is pure evil keeping Lewis in all this suspense. I love it. Boy I could just see Lewis having to go to Star Fan's Island to retrieve it too. He better get busy before maintainance day at Don's. Larry
  12. Got mine today as well. That's some nice quality work done on these buckles. Going to get myself a new belt to go with it too. Thanks for doing this Thom Larry
  13. WOW Jeff glad to hear you're OK except for a nit shook up. Lots can be said about that third wheel for sure. Maybe time to go to the darkside on that rear tire if you'll be running a rig? Larry
  14. Hey Jonas it'll be great seeing you at Don's in May. With all the ensusiasm you're showing already it'll be contagious for the rest of us. I too am looking forward to next years Venture rider events whenever, wherever they may be. Have to pick and chose some of them but wouldn't miss Don's Maintance day nor the International Rally in August. Larry
  15. I'm going to temporarily suspend lift adapter production due to me needing to finish my kitchen & utility room remodeling and the upcoming hunting season. I do have a couple of the Standard models boxed and ready for shipping but no Freestanding models until I purchase more steel and get them built. Hopefully I'll have some more ready before Thanksgiving but deffineately before the 1st of next month. At any rate they'll be available for putting under the X-Mas tree. Thanks in advance, Larry
  16. No that's not made by me. This guy started copying them soon after I started building & selling mine. I've watched his ads and many times he don't sell any at all so wonder how much he loses after paying the E-Bay fees. I think he may be building them at a workshop so that'll keep his costs down a lot too. Just guessing on my part so may not be true. He's still using the first design while I have since made improvements to my design for easier use. As well as offering the Freestanding version. Bottom line is I feel my lift adapters are better and easier to use than his are. As to a patent I did check into it and decided not to go that route as it's too expensive for the amount of sales I have done. Larry
  17. Nice find Jerry. Not a bad price either when you consider the costs involved in converting a bike too. You had me scared for a bit there thinking you were selling your bike. Larry
  18. Best read thru that book again Mr. Owl. I saw roads for Michigan & Pennsylvania, nada on New Jersey, Nebraska & Texas. Larry
  19. I'd be in for one as well. Carbon One for the bottom name. Larry
  20. I don't see any reason you couldn't providing the wheels bolt pattern is the same. They do look good and not a bad price considering you get wheel & tire. Larry
  21. That's a realy good offer Robbie. Someone should grab it soon I'd think. Did you know that I have also made a lift adapter for trikes? Yep I still like to get mine up in the air for easier wrenching and cleaning. Drop me mail and we'll get ya fixed up.
  22. Well maybe I can talk Denden into using his 1st gen as a guinea pig and set up something. The exhaust pipes look like they'd be in the way when I looked once before. Another thing was getting around the center stand as my 2nd gen lift adapter utilizes the mounting tabs on the frame. I'll research this a bit more but no promises. Larry
  23. No web site. Just go to the 2nd gen parts and accessories classified section here. Look on page 2 for the info. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showcat.php/cat/500/ppuser/161 Larry
  24. Steble horns can now be bought in full custom chrome. One price I saw was about $150 for it. I think current prices for the normal chromed plastic units are around $45-50. Big difference. I would have to see one of them before plunking down that much green for a horn thou. As to your queston on electric versions I don't have an answer there. Sorry Larry
  25. Well done by the kids. As you say don't push them, let them sort out who they are and where they're going with their music. With maturity and more experince I think they'll have a wonderfull future. Oh congrads to the proud parents too. Larry
