    Had a great time!! And the best thing is that Kelly`s bike still runs!! and not to many extra parts either! Busted a few knuckles, ok 4 all at the same time, but Kelly and I have a plan for the busted knuckle thing, next time I will just smack all my knuckles real good with a hammer and grind them up and down on some bricks before hand just to get that part out of the way!! LOL Yes and the camera was setting right where I left it.. All in all we had a great time, met some new freinds and had some great food!! Look forward to the next MX day, maybe get a few more new faces at the next one..

    Thanks Brad, I was looking at the torqe specs last night, but am brain dead this morning, but I do think that it is around 40, I`ll look it up again. I hope all is going well for ya`ll, I know what a PITA moving can be, all us sothern folk look forward to ya`ll gettin on down here. Take care, if I end up with a box of parts, I`ll give ya a call!!     Sure if it it`s not to far out of the way, then you can ride it and check it out...of coarse it probably wont make the noise when your on it..LOL I am going to run to the store and gas up around 0700-0730.... but I will home before you make it out here... Then we can shoot out 362 to I-10 and over to Kellys, he came by last night and got my lift, we shot the bull for about an hour, and tried to solve all of the worlds problems, LOL I think we have a pretty good plan!! haha Thanks Don!!!

    Brad, I checked the brake mounts and all bolts, all are tight, It is a bit squirly, but it has been windy, so I wasn`t sure if the wind was just beating me up, or tire preasure or what... so how do I tighten or check the swingarm? I have 20k on it and am sure that nothing has ever been checked by the P.O. Thanks, Kreg

    Ok, If they are sticking, how or what do I do to correct that? I put new pads on it about 8 months ago, and have had them off a few times in between for tire change and rear end lube.. Thanks for the in-put...

    I am getting a "clank" sound from the rear when I leave a stop light, ( has nothing to do with the light) I have greased the splines and the drive shaft thinking this was the problem, that didn`t do it. I am wondering if maybe the swingarm bushings/bearings need greased or re-tourqed.... or if I am looking in the wrong place... I have checked everything for any loose nuts or bolts, grabbed and tried to shake the rear end to see if I could duplicate the sound, no luck. I have noticed that if I stop only using the front brake, that I don`t hear that noise when taking off...Any help would be great!! Thanks, Kbay

    Could this be a problem even if the CB is off?? I have been loosing my XM radio, thought at first it was the power plug, but after watching the radio, its not loosing power, just the sound, only last a few seconds then comes back on..

    Don, Are you going to make it a one day ride...there and back?? I have never been there, or S.LA for that matter.. We can discuss this Sat. at Kelly`s...... he is going to pick up my lift this week some time...     Well first off...Welcome to the Family!! I have never owned a Ultra, but rode a freinds `06 Ultra Clasic S/E... nice bike, but not for what he paid for it. not sure how tall you are, I`m 6`1 and the RSV has more room, the Ultra had me sitting more upright then the RSV, do you ride Solo or 2up?? you will find the navigator will have more room on the RSV and the heat is really not a problem. Mine has a whine, but probably not as loud as some, some have no whine at all. As you may know, all bikes has there pro`s and Con`s..so you just have to take each into consideration. It looks like you have done your home work on the RSV. Have you had the chance to ride one?? If not you should, it is not a V-twin as you know and the V4 likes to be wound out..high revs. the rev limit is set around 6500rpms so there is no way you are going to hurt it.. just twist the throtle and let her go.. Others will chime in I`m sure.. Best wishes with what ever way you go..and remember you do not have to ride a RSV to be in the Family.. Kreg
