My wireless connection drops out 3 or 4 times a day. If I leave it alone for 5 minutes it will come back. Most of the time I just right click on repair connection and this fixes it. Once or twice a week the only way to get it back is reboot the router. My signal strength is excellent.Sometimes it will drop within minutes of being repaired. Another problem both my Dvd-Rom drive and my Dvd+RW/ Cd +RW drive have all but quit working. What I mean is they use to work on every dvd or cd I put in. Now they are very limited which ones work. Almost like limited to a certain file type. Drivers are good and drives clean. Any suggestions? This is a Sony Viao machine about 3 or 4 years old.

I can cut back and make it no problem. How do I tell MamaMo this months anniversary dinner will be hot dogs and fries? I'm leaving tomorrow evening for the camp and a nice peaceful weekend. Hey Saturday is squirrel season I can pretend their my fund managers and shoot shoot shoot. Shooting something always makes me feel better.

I use Rotella full synthetic in all three scoots, lawn mower, even my generator.No problems and the price is right. -

Yea I know Redneck. The only thing worse would be selling and missing the rebound. There will be a rebound Right? Right? This is history in the making and were all apart of it. Sure is some selling going on. Every conversation in town over lunch is the slide. I been saving for almost 30 years. I even buried some money one time. Tried to dig it up years later and never did find it. I guess the clay bank went under.

I always wondered why Grandpa and Grandma raised enough vegetables in 1 year to last for 7. Every year it was can can can I never seen so many quart jars. After she died we eat out of her cellar for years. Then there was butchering time. We only need one hog why are we raising two or three. Well folks after todays ride It looks like the world is in a panic sell off. GM lost 31% today. It's now trading at 1950 year levels. After todays 700 pt drop on Wall Street I know one thing. I can't take much more of this. Having just bought a 4 acre camp,still owing for our vehicles, and a mortgage on my Dad's place it's not a good time to be in debt. I could have paid off the property,the mortgage,the vehicles, and every thing else with what I have already lost. Then again I haven't lost anything until I sell.I guess I'll just ride it out.I know where Grandpa's plows are but might need a team of mules to pull them.I got some lumber for a hog pen and enough property to raise chickens.

No political punches intended and this is not a political thread. I'm just waking up some people. Most only monitor their retirement with those quarterly statements in the mail if they get opened. Up's and down's in the market are normal even recession is a part of it. But panic leads to a world wide depression and I never seen one of those. Who is at fault we will know later but my money and yours is vanishing NOW.

Some people are very bold. There is a escalating crisis in this country. I'm talking about people driving with suspended license,no insurance, and under the influence of something not to mention unsafe vehicles. It seems to be normal for people to drive everyday many crossing state lines. Construction workers,utility crews, etc drinking up the paycheck every weekend with no conscience or thought for what they do or the people on the highway at risk. We all might want to raise our uninsured coverage and just hope for the best. I know several contractors who still have help wanted signs posted. The only qualification to get a job is to have a drivers licensee for a $12 an hr job.

Whats faster then a first gen? Meaner then the dragon? Even makes WV twisties look mild. Not many survivors on this one. Anybody rode Wall Street lately? Retirement public pensions and private IRA's are down by 2 trillion over the last year and that data was before this weeks slide. My nest egg is down by 40 % since Oct of 07. Some economist are saying if you need your money in the next 5 years to take it out. If not ride it out. My thinking is it's to late to roll it and the bottom to this market may be long and flat. I was planning on being debt free in ten years and retiring with a new house. Now it's move on to plan B. Not sure what that is but I'll think of something. I feel sorry for the guys nearing retirement age. Plan C is to become a Walmart greeter. I'm still doing alot of work for my Oil field and energy clients I wonder how long their boom will last.

I followed an old harley home from work last evening. When the guy applied his brakes his brake light came on. He also had high intensity led's that light up inside his red turn signal lenses. Then on his rear bags he had two very bright small red led's that flashed on/off about every half second. This was a real eye catcher no problem seeing his brake lights from a distance. Not sure if his setup was legal but definitely noticeable.

You guys have added a little twist to the story. Still mild compared to my crew at the office. I'm prepared now I got my .9mm with bird shot and my Crocodile Dundee knife strapped on just to expel some coffee. I broke the handle out of my faithful old hoe so I might get me one of them new hoe's. Life is a venture.

Had several close calls myself. A rock slide at 5am in the morning was one of them. Lots of stories of missed opportunities to leave this world before my time. But I'm not complaining. Like the song says everybody wants to go to Heaven but nobody wants to go now.Count your blessings for another day.

I put the Barnett Spring kit in the 89 just before Asheville. It solved my slipping problems even while towing. The heavier spring kit also fixed the 84 from slipping. -
Redneck a electronic tech carries a dull knife for wire stripping. It's easier on the thumbs. I was gonna step on it's head but decided to have some fun with the secretary. She swings a mean hoe. My grandpa almost died from a copper head bite. He was in so much misery he about O.D. on whiskey..

I use to carry a .22 target pistol loaded with bird shot. I have had to shoot my way in to equipment buildings before just to work. One building use to have a big black snake in it I worked around him many times. One day I went in and he had disappeared and three copper heads were waiting on me. This is a bad year for snakes.

Working in the shop today I stepped in the mens room to wash up. I was only in there for a minute and when I opened the door to come out guess what? There laid a copper head snake in front of the door. I hollered for my secretary. I'm stuck in the john come and get me. Oh yea and bring a hoe. Someone left the bay door cracked again. The last one got in my office.

I got MamaMo's 99 in so many parts it may never go back together. If this recession gets deep and long may have to part it out to buy coffee,eggs, and bread. Those second gens will never see 25 + years of service.

Thats an idea but I got wood out the wazooo. October is chainsaw month for me. I'm getting ready to cut some wood for storage and drying. After the leaves fall I should have plenty of limbs to clean up at the camp.

I have finally found a good use for junk mail. Here is my recipe for a fire at the camp. 1. Equally spread a 2 inch layer of paper shredded credit card offers across the floor of stove. 2. Place a 2 inch layer of kindling wood on top 3. Now about 3 logs on top of that and close the door. 4. open the draft and air intakes wide open. 5. Touch here off with one match at base of intake. In two minutes you will have flames shooting out the top of chimney. Cut the draft back to half and close air to 1/3. Open a cold one and look for TV remote. 41 outside 83 inside.
