Brad the Lord is his only hope but he even made a mockery of that. Played it like a game going through the motions with no serious commitment. Just for what he could get out of it. Alcohol,Drugs,Meth, and prescription med abuse don't mix. Looks like he has aged 30 years in the last 2. Sad part is he honestly doesn't see himself as doing anything wrong.Something wrong with a man that will pawn his kids toys for drug money.Take a look at what else he gave up.
  3. There both Taurus.Mamamo has a PT-908 and mine is a PT-111 Pro.Neither real expensive but they shoot good.
  4. Thanks Barry for the info.

Redneck I told my daughter I would deliver a case of Vaseline to the jail when he got hauled in. Then again several of his buddies whom he owes money to is waiting for him in there. He is a marked man by his own doing.

X Son-N-Law cost MamaMo and I plenty. Sadly to say my daughter lost major $$$ among other things. While they were together he cleaned out her checking acct into overdraft. She had just deposited a major college grant loan. Anyway she went to drop the kids off for visitation weekend last night he had been drinking. He left to buy whatever he does and got picked up before arriving at his destination.

My hats off to that local unknown officer who caught a DUI driver last night. He was on his way to get a little something extra for the pain. Might have been a DUID if caught later. Many thanks and coffee is on me. If you found any air tools it's worth a steak dinner.Nice mug shot at the regional. MamaMo is still crying tears of joy.
  8. Anybody remember some idiot going down the road with both hands in the air and the pic ending up on here? Still hearing about that. Saw that. I thought maybe it was a rolling prayer meeting or something. That guy keep saying thanks lord for a understanding Warden!
  9. I bought MamaMo a meat grinder for Christmas one year. She never forgot it. I took here to the mall for her anniversary to buy craftsman tool. She ended up strolling through 6 jewelry stores until I laid down the plastic. Never did get my I mean her tools.
  10. In 1996 Mamamo and I hosted a NRA certified pistol training course on my grandpa's farm.We received our concealed permits shortly after that.Since then we sold the farm and moved in a couple of mobile homes on my property. One for my Dad after his heart attack in 95 and one that my daughter and family currently lives in. Our permits have been expired for 7-8 years as we basically run out room to shoot safely here on the property. After buying the camp last spring I mentioned about building a pistol shooting range out back and getting back into the game.My brother is wanting to set back up my reloading bench which brings me to my question. I have 9mm reloading dies but have never used them.Back in those days the price of plinking ammo was cheap.Have you ever reloaded pistol ammo for an autoloader? My concealed weapons ammo will be factory I'm just talking about plinking cartridges. it used to be we could buy bulk ammo at a cheap price.
  11. You said he fried the TCI? Not good. I would pull the emergency inhibit line Black/White wire from the TCI plug. This is on the pickup coil side of TCI and see if it fires or starts.Take a dental pick or small screwdriver and release push in the locking ear on plug connector and it will pull out the back. If it fires up you need to check side stand switches, clutch lever switch, tip over switch etc. You might have intermittent connections on the pickup coil plug or bad pickup coil. It sounds like you need a working TCI just to start.
  12. Brad I'm sad to hear this news. Sometimes life is just not fair.If a man works hard he should have the right to play hard in my book.Buying a new scoot from a financial point of view is a bad investment. However when you factor in a peace of mind element with a long term commitment to keep it then it is the only thing to do.I remember your frustration at the WV meet.I was hoping you could find a lower interest rate in your search for refinancing it to keep the payments down. You did get a good deal on that scoot compared to what others have paid. The only way to manage finances is with a family budget. Take a hard look at your cash flow and I bet you can find ways to save money.I changed auto insurance and save $600 a year. I raised my deductible and save another $900 a year. My phone bill dropped by $20 a month just for agreeing to a 1 year contract to keep it. No problem their I've had it for over 25 years who can do without one?Remember a penny saved is a penny earned. All of us are shaken by the uncertainty of the economy.Have a positive outlook and things will get better. When you get to the end of your rope just tie a knot in the thing and hold on.I have never been forsaken by the Lord and you will make it to. Our prayers are with you.
  13. Charlie got something to pull his sled with.
  14. I remember when I was a kid helping put up Christmas lights. It usually just involved stringing lights around the front porch and a small pine outside the bedroom window. Back in those days the light bulbs were much bigger and almost every house was decorated. One poor guy spents months just installing his but hundreds of people would come out after dark to see them. They were always a big hit with the ladies and children. I remember going to the woods and chopping a white pine for the house. I brought in a few that would make Charlie Brown proud. Not to degrade or forget the true meaning of Christmas but these traditions sure were alot of fun and still are. Not many folk do it anymore like they use to. Which brings me to my next point. Remember that 250 ft section of rail fence I installed at the camp last March. Well guess what MaMamo is doing to it. I should not have put an electrical outlet on that new utility pole in the front yard. I have had no more trouble out of the Rose Thief. Do people steal Christmas lights? If so MaMamo will be @^!#.
  15. Last minute operation checks. 1. Internet connection and bandwidth up to speed? 2. Credit Card in hand? 3. Hot Coffee On? It's almost time for that one day Cyber Monday sale. No Walmart geeters or crowds to push through. It's the equivalent of Black Friday only online sales only. Looking for a new gps or other acessories for the scoot. Visit you favorite shopping website and catch their cyber monday sale. Have everything shipped to the office and the wife will never know.
  16. I was going to suggest THE ANNUAL VOGEL-HEINKEN RALLY! I wonder what gave me that idea?Must have been that noisy party in 07.
  17. Thanks for all the tips. I finished up yesterday. My next project is to grease that noisy intermediate steering shaft. GM never put enough grease in the thing and every late model silverado will start clunking high in the steering wheel. It feels and sounds like it's inside the cab. Now to find a grease syringe for a temp fix. Not sure if GM ever recalled this problem but many customers have complained about it.
  18. Maybe next year we can catch a few 300 mile days. For now shop time and hot coffee. I think about quitting every spring. Once I get across that creek I'm fine.
  19. My question is why is kerosene so high. I paid $3.99 a gallon last weekend. Gasoline prices have dropped by 50 % and diesel is down also but not kerosene. I use kerosene as a added heat source at the camp last week.
  20. Bahhh humbug! Gobble freaking gobble! Not a good day. Score is 1-0. Wife killed a deer I didn't. On the way to check it in a BMW rider with his heated accessories passed us. Just out for a ride at 35 degrees. My truck is still broke need a 15mm 1/2 socket. Nasty creek crossing got everything rusted up.Wife going shopping tomorrow black friday sale to spend the last of the money.Wait a minute things are looking better. MaMamo got supper ready gotta go.
  21. Dang leave for 3 or 4 days and always miss something.Lew there is only one statement that can't be debated. FIRST GENS RULE!
  22. I picked up the bearing hub assembly,35mm axle socket,22mm,18mm sockets, and a T55 torx bit all for $165.00. I guess I'll change it out tomorrow before Thankgiving dinner. We been at camp all week and MamaMo wants to come home tomorrow about noon to start cooking for supper. No snow or rain for tomorrow so I should be good for the job.I got about 49,000 miles on the truck. I'm sure crossing that creek reduced the bearing life. I hope the other side is good til spring.
  23. Nothing like screwing up my hunt. It looks like the front wheel bearing is about to come out of my 04 Silverado 4x4. It's a 1500 ext cab series. I will order a bearing or hub assembly tomorrow. Anybody ever change one of these? No garage, cold outside probably snowing and I'm sure I don't have a socket to remove that axle nut with.local garage could probably get to it in 3-4 days at $50 hr.:snow2:
  24. 17 here this morning. I had a kerosene heater going and wood stove at the camp. It was hard to maintain 60 inside. Hunting this week should be good. No flies to blow the hanging meat. I will miss that traditional scooter ride.
  25. HEALTH-- Everybody is still doing fine. Dad had a spell last month but has recovered and looking forward to deer hunting this week. WEALTH-- Tough economic times and my net worth has dropped by 65 % but hey, Things could be a lot worse. All my monthly bills are paid ahead of time and food on the table. Prosperity-- I'm talking about prosperity of the Soul.Prayer is a daily part of that but sometime I have to get away and search my thoughts.Ask your self How do I feel inside? Sometimes I say I don't like what I feel or have become but with Gods help things work out. To many people have a hair trigger and domestic violence is a major problem only to increase when money gets tight. Venture Riders-- Good friends are closer then family and I have several here that I enjoy very much.
