I lost 45 lbs the last time I was on a diet. I lost my focus due to stress and gained most of it back. The easy part is loosing the weight. Hard part is keeping it off. Son-N-Law knew how to raise my stress levels.

I use a kerosene heater on occasion. I used it at the camp over thanksgiving for 4 days and it set me back $40 for kerosene.:mo money:

173 kWhr of electricity between Friday morning and this morning Now I remember why I don't heat with electric. My electric avg 33 kwhr per day.My generator is a portable gasoline model. The electricity can go out for 1-2 days around here during the winter. If we get an Ice storm maybe a week.

Do you have a backup heat source? Our furnace run most of the night keeping the house at 70 degrees. It was -5F here this morning. I'm going to buy a vent less NG space heater as a backup source of heat. 99.9% efficiency is not bad. Several of my neighbors run them as a main source of heat and there very popular as a garage heater. I just got to keep the batteries up in my carbon monoxide detector but not sure how much of a problem cm will be. Lowes just dropped the price on them again. $209 is not bad for a 30Kbtu unit. I might get a LP model for the camp to.Our old furnace is 30 years old.Nothing like working on one in the middle of winter. I had the blower go out one winter,lost the gas valve,and the 24 volt transformer that activates it. Also the termal coupler seems to go out when the local hardware store is closed.The wind blows the pilot light out about once a week.I might have to replace that furnace before long.

The Boss approved my vacation request for 2009 today. Looks like it is a go for Maintenance Day,Skid Inn,Vogel, Asheville, plus a few personal days in Pigeon Forge. 2009 is starting to look good. How many more days till spring?I even got a week approved for Spring break at the camp.:banana:

Snow blower as in walk behind? Man that is work. Now I remember why I sold my walk behind Gravely mower.I'm thinking more about riding with coffee in hand.

I use to plow the drive with a riding mower,tire chains, and a blade. That was no fun. After I bought the Atv's it quit snowing.

When I bought our ATV's in 04 I was going to buy a snow blade for mine.I decided to wait for a bad winter and after 4 years still waiting. Not that that is a bad thing but I was wondering. Do you have an Atv with snow blade accessory. If so what what did you buy? Tractor supply stocks a universal blade with mount but I'm sure there are others better.I need to get a winch to.

Oh No I already suggested she put a small veggie garden there.The fight will be from the neighbors. This should be good. I think the Rose bandit loves tomatoes.

It looks like the old shed has rotten support timbers underneath.It settled down in the ground. Looks like I will be tearing it down in the spring.That location is the only spot level that gets a fair amount of sunshine. MamaMo is looking for a spot to plant a veg garden. Just a few things like tomatoes and my favorite veggie Squash. I wonder who will win this fight.

OnStar works great if your vehicle gets stolen. They will gladly track it so the insurance company don't have to pay. Heck they might even download a log of your driving habits to the insurance company so they can adjust your rates.If your not dead or air bags deployed forget it.I canceled mine when gasoline went over $3.00 a gallon. I don't drive the Silverado enough now to justify the monthly expense.

You might try probing around in there with a aluminum arrow shaft and sharp practice tip. Maybe you can get it repositioned. I got to get me one of those Squidley tow behind scoot trailers. Get it up to the Skid Inn for maintenance.
