  1. Those 20 rooms are booking up quick!
  2. The phone number is 440-775-1111.
  3. Give her away??? How am I gonna hold a gun on the groom and do that to? Are we loosing 1 or gaining 4? How many empty shell casing we gonna need? OH yea what are you wearing?
  4. Frontier is my only provider and they say: Frontier may suspend, terminate or apply additional charges to the Service if such usage exceeds a reasonable amount of usage. A reasonable amount of usage is defined as 5GB combined upload and download consumption during the course of a 30-day billing period. The Company has made no decision about potential charges for monthly usage in excess of 5GB.
  5. Anybody else have this? Rumor has it my dsl provider will impose a 5GB per month usage cap starting in December or January. That doesn't sound like much bandwidth to me considering I have 5 computers ( wife and kids ) using the service. Someone is usually online 24/7. I have a speedstream 6520 router. My question is how can I monitor my bandwidth usage just to know what my monthly activity is before a suprise bill arrives later?:mo money:
  6. I got the honeymoon suite Ahhhhh I mean a room at the Oberlin. Hey Craig! You all gather around. Mamamo is going to shine up my scoot again this year.:smile5:
  7. It's official folks and nothing we can do about it.It's tough economic times and winter is coming on. In less then two weeks this state will come to a crawl. All schools closed and businesses cut back to a skeleton crew. Only one thing left to do. Get the guns out and go hunting. Nov 24 begins WV Deer season a state holiday.
  8. MSNBC news is reporting that GM has acknowledged bankruptcy is inevitable and may file by end of this year. Not sure if Ford and Chrysler is fairing much better. $77.00 an hour HOLY COW!!!
  9. Iron butt ride in a Chevy??? Glad your home safe.
  10. I never thought I would see the day when GM common stock traded for $3.02 a share. Some forecasters have it now as worthless and dropping to zero without a bail out. Our prayers for all you guys working in and for the auto industry. With two or three thousand dollars added to the price of every vehicle just to pay for the benefits of those already retired and current high cost of labor it must be tough to be competitive. I buy Chevy trucks as my first choice of vehicle. My life style demands it and crossing this creek yearly rules out anything smaller. Getting in and out in the winter is a 4x4 necessity. I have been driving Ford F150's for over 25 years on the job and they are good to.If the price of gas gets to high I park my truck and ride the scoot. Many retired neighbors around WV worked in the auto industry in Ohio and moved back home to retire. Seeing GM stock drop to a 60 year low has us all wondering about the industries future. This is not a political thread but a Government bailout looks inevitable. Not sure it would do any good but who knows. The question is what will we all be driving in the future? Maybe UPS will deliver my vehicle kit in the mail. I can put it together, shove an ear of corn in it and fire it up.
  11. Battery died on the 89 last week. It won't hold a charge. 99 still on the lift in pieces. The 84 is running good but high temp today was 42.:snow2: is coming soon.
  12. Thanks Goose. I was able to download a maxtor hd utility program and build a floppy. After running and repairing the hd it now boots up. The chk files for consistency application in XP runs until it finds file errors and freezes up. I turned off the registry command for checking drive c: Now she runs. I probably have a hd about to go south so the best thing may be to replace the drive and try to save some of the old data. Thanks to Buddy Rich for his help on the XP disk. Now I remember why I bought the kids their own PC's.Glad it wasn't mine.
  13. I got big hammer out getting serious now.:smash2:
  14. Nothing I mean nothing causes me more headaches and blood pressure then a stubborn computer. My daughters Dell desk top running Xp pro sp2 has crashed. We get the dreaded Unmountable boot error. The machine just runs forever trying to boot. Here is where we are. 1. I cannot boot into safe mode or last know config. 2. It's a dell refurb so tech support won't help not the original owner. 3. No I don't have a XP pro cd to use the recovery system. 4. The Cd rom doesn't work or recognize anything. 5. I tried booting with the A drive using boot files from another machine with no luck. 6. The only solution I have found is building those dreaded six floopy disc files that support xp pro sp2 from microsoft but damn if I can find working floopys around this house. I am up to 4 usable disc but the fifth one crashes. Three hours work and the trash can is getting full of bad disc. 7. All I want is to build a XP pro boot disc from a working machine to try a earlier restore point. She probably has a corrupted file on the HD.
  15. Government is going to turn all blue collar workers to Green. It's our environmental future.
  16. About two days a week I work in the office (engineering) so that makes me a white collar worker. Two days a week in the field service makes me a blue collar worker. Tomorrow I got a meeting about a wind generator project so I should wear green. A few of my clients are all women but I'm not wearing pink. Ramona just brought home some homeade blackberry wine and now I don't have a shirt on at all.:rotfl:
  17. A very nice area. Looks like we will be back at vogel next year. Love those smokey mountains.
  18. Got our new 09 Star motorcycle calendar in the mail last week. Wife took off with it. Won't let me see it,touch it, I don't know where she put it? :confused24: I just wanted to see if it was a swimsuit edition.
  19. I voted last week. I passed the poling places this morning and nobody was there at 7:00 am. My neighbors won't be sober enough to vote until this afternoon.
  20. I had an 8 pt buck standing 20 feet from my bedroom window. Don't need a ground blind just some grease on those window slides.
  21. We been camping in the old house on weekends for about 6 months. I got a small wood burner put in the kitchen where the wood cook stove use to be. This keeps the kitchen and master bedroom a toasty 80 degrees on those 30 degree nights. With Ramona's Thyroid problems she still freezes. The living room stays a comfortable 65 - 70. Current economic conditions may have the old house standing another 6-10 years or more.I'm not going to tear it down until plan B comes together I just done a preliminary cost estimate for a new log home complete with water, septic, land, etc for $204,000. HOLY COW time to do some major trimming to this project. That old house has stood for over 100 years. Maybe I'll just camp til I die who knows?Where is my powerball tickets.
  22. MamaMo's 99 has been on my harbor freight lift since July. Right where I left it.:rotf: Just checking the hydraulics on my lift. I'm waiting on a few items to finish. Motivation and Round Tuit.
  23. Were dropping about 10 cents a week but still slowly. Reg is 2.59 gal.
