Redneck I never said she bought Blue and White paint. I never told anyone she showed the painter a picture of your bike either. I only said I would buy the paint. You would be suprised how much the color shade changes when someone else is paying.I think she bought all GM colors. I remember when I bought my 04 pickup new off the lot. They had 20 or 30 trucks on the lot but only 1 blue one (she said we want that one).Will the scooter match the truck hmmmmm?

I guess I don't know my own strength. I had a little battle with some plastic pieces and the plastic lost ahhhhh twice! Truth is this bike has some major plastic issues. My guess retail value about $2K worth. Why is it the motivation to start a job only comes two weeks before you need it? Always something else to do thats more of a priority at the time. NO I'm not going to fix all those plastic issues before paint. Time and Money does not permit it now. I can always replace or repair cosmetic issues later. If you seen the jarring this bike takes just getting in and out of my driveway with that voyager kit on you would understand. We have literally had pieces fall off the scoot. So here is the plan MaMamo can disassemble all those attachments from the plastic,fenders,cowling,etc. I'm going to check the mechanical issues of the scoot while it's stripped on the lift and clean some on it. p/s I done a raid on those yellow jackets at 3:00 am this morning.

Working at Snowshoe Village today I seen several second gens there among hundreds of other bikes. Must be a motorcycle event tents and vendors set up everywhere. Anybody from our group?

99 Trunk Needs Major Repair

OK going to try the fiberglass cloth with resisn mixture. I know a few ole boys that might do it for free just to get the inhale experience.:rotf::rotf: More later. -
MamaMo been out in the shed today prying and banging around on that second gen taking parts off. We should have 1000's pieces ready for paint shortly. Can she get it back together??? Looks like I better go get the 89.

Arkansas, Tennessee all are good. We need central location for the majority of members. Location should have plenty sights to see yet be 1 to1 1/2 day ride from majority of members. Many only take 1 week vacations so location best for a good turnout is a must.

Mini I better let her tell you. She will use the excuse it's the muscles in her arms that demands the larger size.She does all the hard work at the store while the others pull thong duty.

She didn't tell you I was allergic to the dust created from cutting the laminate. I would cut a piece then had to walk away for a while. My eyes swelled up for two days. Marrying a farmers daughter with tools has it's benefits.

Yes I have hauled several in the back of a 6 1/2 bed. Just drop the tailgate and strap it down good.

MamaMo is tearing her scooter a part in the middle of the dining room floor.My stuff has to stay in the shed. This is so unfair.

99 Trunk Needs Major Repair

Maybe I can get some pictures up later. I just removed the trunk to see how bad it was. I'm talking 6 inch cracks up the side,up the back,across the bottom almost end to end. We got one chunk of plastic missing about 2 1/2 inch square. Obviously this one did not get the Yamaha recall repair in 99. So for a cheap quick fix now ASAP what are my options. I don't care if I have to replace the trunk later but now time is the problem.

Not everbody has a DQ next door that offers free internet to. Skid even has internet in his garage.

Maybe I expected more but my DSL runs like a snail. It's better then dial up most of the time. We switched when it became available about 18 months ago. It's 5:00 am and it's running at full speed 1250 KB upload 325 KB download. Thats not screaming but compared to 56 K its fast. At least we can run multiple machines now.I notice of an evening after work it starts slowing down 800K,600K 400k 225k are the norms every day. Sometimes it drops to 75K upload and about 25k download. This really ticks me off. It's not the kids hogging the bandwidth on the other machines either. I can put up with rebooting the speed stream router twice everyday when my wireless connection drops. Thats on my route to the coffee pot anyway. I can even tolerate a total DSL outage for 48 hours twice a month because storms went through the southen part of the state 100 miles south of me ( we didn't get any). I have called tech support more times then I can remember and it's the same thing. They issue a ticket number some computer tweeker checks it from his office and nobody comes to the field.I would like to see them replace the router and at least admit that someone else has this problem with slow speeds but no luck. We live 12 miles from the C/O so maybe I'm on the outer limits being in a rural area? The only thing running fast (always on time) is that $45 a month bill.
