hey guys & ladys, just wanted to let you know that I have a compleat set of seats -taken off of my 05 - for sale. The driver seat has had the RICK BUTTLER touch- rick made it a little shorter for me and I like the way it sets. they are in good shape, the pass=seat has only about 500 butt miles:hurts: anyway, I got another seat I want to try so I'm going to sell these .. I probbley will wish I did't' cause rick did such a good job fixing it. If any one wants to talk about it just pm me. it is a pillow top. thanx jack

Well, about a year ago I purchased my 2000 MM (which I love) for a great price. My son was the finance manager at the dealership that I bought the bike from so I got a good deal. Well, I am not really liking the color, while the bike is a pretty bike, I really like darker colored motorcycles. While I keep looking around I do not see any prices that are so high that I should concern myself with changes (painting the bike to match my choices). My opinion is that I paint it and ride it in enjoyment, or sell it and buy another. My choice of color would be a black with a small amout of blue metalflake in the paint. My question is simply this...if I paint my bike to the color I want do you think my value on the bike will change (if it changes at all). The biggest issue that bothers me is that my bike is number 3 ....of 1500. Please let me know what you think......just looking for input to help me make my mind up.... Thanks for your thoughts.... Just got home from a nice short ride to Chadron. Starting to feel like fall is just around the corner. My favorite time of year, especially for riding. Had second thoughts about selling my '83 VR, but still planning at this point to sell. Before I took off on my ride, I stopped at the library where Ronda works and told her that I'd be home by lunch time. She kind of had a little pout face for a second. She loves to ride also. Not sure where to post this. My 05 Venture fell over in the toyhauler this weekend, crack and scratch the outer fairing. I was wonder if anyone had one to sell or know of one for sale yamaha silver color would be nice.

if any one wants to display something at the rally or knows of anyone that wants to. we have plenty of free vendor space. it must be motorcycle related unless it is somrthing for the ladies ,like jewelry etc.. also if you have mtorcycle parts you want to sell new or used bring them no charge for that either. we are going to have an area for members to unload there junk. bill

Does anyone have the bushing that goes in between the saddle bag and the fender on a 2005 RSTD? It's chrome and about 1" long. A bolt goes through the rear end of saddlebag then the bushing then into the fender. Going to need it shortly so hopefully someone has a spare they want to sell. If I can't locate one on here anybody know they part # so I can order it? Thanks and God Bless. mike

I am in the process of buying a house and may need to sell my 84 Vr in very good condition. It has 34000 original miles and has lots of extras like the original exhaust, spare saddle bag parts, new in the bag clutch master and slave rebuild kits I ride the bike every day I put Iridium plugs plus new wires and caps,Tires are about 75% everything works and it has an aftermarket cd payer.If you know anyone interested I only want 1800 for everything,it is in Fort Pierce Fl, pm me and I will give the specifics. okay, this is the last call for the vendor area from me. we are going to have an indoor area in the main hall for vendors. if you have something that you make that you would like to display and sell, the vendor area is free. it does'nt need to be totally bike related such as jewelry or leather work etc.. we will also have an area set up to sell your used bike parts and bike related items. so if you have something to get rid of bring it with an attached price tag with your name on it. all this stuff will also be in the main hall in a secure area. any questions pm me or danob11. i am really looking forward to seeing everyone that is coming. and wish i could see all the folks that aren't coming. there's still plenty of time to register. see you there. bill

Not anything I'd ride cross country, but I got a sneaky peek at it this week, and it's unlike anything I've ever seen. 193 HP, only 405 lbs., ABS and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), 4 different power modes, central ram air intake, two injectors per cylinder, and a rev range that peaks at 14,200 RPM. Heard that it will sell for about $17K, maybe a little less. It is truly a piece of work. http://www.s1000rr.com Check it out. Might just be my "second" scoot!

Somebody at Carl's gathering last weekend was asking me about the lights I picked up the other weekend at Wallyworld and I can't remember who it was. Whoever that was, get back to me.....I don't need those lights anymore and will sell them too you if you want them.

There has been a lot of talk about trikes and trike conversions. I am seriously considering going the trike route...only thing is that I don't know if it will be better to convert my 07 RSV (and, if so, using what system?) or to sell my bike and just purchase a trike (again, which manufacturer?) Sure would appreciate any help you all have. -

I have a markland trailer hitch off an 83 venture that i will sell for fifty dollars plus freight which i estimate at 15 to 20 dollars more. Just drop me an email and we can work something out. I can do paypal, money order or wait for your check to clear. I don't know what other years it will fit. I thought i'd give you folks a chance before listing it on ebay. I thought my wife was going to take the course and ride the bike-but no way hosay. Can't ride two bikes (at least not at the same time). Need to sell my 2007 V-Star 1300 tourer. Has about everything including cruise control. Only 4700 miles and looks like new. Will take $8400 or for $400 more will add a Mustang seat with backrest (everyone knows what those things sell for). If anyone knows someone that might be interested, just send me an email.

is there a certain time or a certain mileage when the frame on the 83 will crack, and will i have to remove the engine to fix it and do i want to? should i sell and get a 86 or newer?:sign67:what will i feel when this happens?, the crack i mean

I just purchased an 01 Venture with 22/k miles, I'll get pics posted as soon as I can... I did sell the Busa to pay for it! Still got the RSTD and CBR!!!

I have been looking around for a Pillow top seat for my 2005 RSV. I have the corbin seat that was on my bike when I got it but since my hip replacement it just isn't comfortable for long rides anymore. If anyone one has one and would like to sell it please drop me a line. Thanks Steve
