    hi everyone bikes at dealership for hopefully a good riding season valve adjus. tuneup etc. got a call that rotors were warped and unsafe....400.00 for the two..rode it there and and i dont know what to think.......any input would be greatly appreciated........enjoy the site and after last year really looking forward to this riding season..its a 2000 m.m....thanks for any input

    i have a 2005 venture with 35,000k on it and i think my rotor maybe getting warped. pulses at slow speeds when slowing down. #1 is it possible to get warped during tire change?? #2 will grease from the rear hub find its way onto the rotor?? i cleaned it real good with brake clean and did good for about 600 miles and then started pulsing again... any thoughts

    I have a second Gen Bike. The right front rotor is warped as I get a vibration when I use the front hand brake. I verified this by lifting the bike up and spinning the front tire. The rotor can be heard rubbing the brake pads at one area. Now for the question. I s there a way of unwarping the rotor or do you have to replace it? If it has to be replaced where is the best place to get one? And yes my wife says I am definatly warped. She says I landed on my head one to many times when I was still on active duty. AIRBORNE ALL the WAY:2133:

    I'm having difficulty finding chrome beauty rings or nice hub caps for my pull behind trailor. 8" wheels. I originally had chrome wheels but they got warped out of round in a previous tire change. I thought the tires were faulty until a recent change to new tires and discovered the warped rims. I have replaced them w\ white standard rims that I have painted black and still have chrome lug nuts. A chrome beauty ring would look killer. Or a good looking hub cap that can be adapted to fit over or around bearing buddies. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Will 1987 rotors work on a 84 with original calipers? I have a warped rotor and may be able to get a set from an 87.
