I've got a set of Messerstahl's that I love, but they are very pricey. http://messerstahl.com/17pc.html

Just got my bike set up for Bluetooth wireless system. Now I don't have to get tangled anymore and actually gain better individual volume control. I am using the Chatterbox Xbi-2 system which allows linking up to 3 units up to 500 yard away along with a bluetooth dongle which I have plugged into the intercom system using an adapter that I found at Aerostich. Works great even if it's pricey! Scooter

I'm already planning on hitting Bear Tooth Pass next september after labor day, then heading on up to Lewistown where my sister lives. I wanted to hit the Cody get together this year, but it didn't work out. Scooter

Beginning the middle of this month, I have to put in requests for vacation for next year. I would like to attend Cody. Is it always the third week of September? Scooter

Good luck! My son has been laid off since last december, fortunately, he was able to move in with us. He probably won't be able to get back to his job until next summer. Luckily he was able to find work at the Safeway store to get him by until he gets back on with the railroad.

I have crossed over to the Dark Side, well maybe it's more like gray. Titanium gray. This morning I traded in my '83 VR that I have in the classifieds on a Goldwing. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to the technical articles in this web site. Huge, huge help. There were two folks who had expressed an interest in my VR, but things kind of fell into place when this deal came along. Once again thanks for everyones friendship and expertise! Scott:7_6_3[1]:

Just got home from a nice short ride to Chadron. Starting to feel like fall is just around the corner. My favorite time of year, especially for riding. Had second thoughts about selling my '83 VR, but still planning at this point to sell. Before I took off on my ride, I stopped at the library where Ronda works and told her that I'd be home by lunch time. She kind of had a little pout face for a second. She loves to ride also. She is fine with selling the VR because she knows an upgrade is in the plans, but I've got to sell the '83 first. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/2242/cat/3/date/1228956335

30 thousand miles on a 26 year old bike? Yes, believe it. One of the reasons that I don't have more miles on it than it does is that I need to travel on gravel roads quite often and since the Venture isn't in it's element on gravel, I usually take the pickup. I'm wanting to get a bike that will do gravel and pavement. I've got BMW GS1200 taste with a Suzuki VStrom budget, or something similar.

Gee Whiz, Everybody's saying, "Jump on it, or let me buy it"! There are deals out there. I've got my Blonde '83 listed in the classifieds with just over 30k miles on it. Ronda says I can't get anything new until I get this one sold, :buttkick:so I've got it priced to make room in the garage. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php/product/2242

What I like most about how the Vision looks is when viewed from the front, it looks like a Psycho 'Bozo the Clown'.

Yeah thanks Yama Mama, I know I'm way out of your way. If I can get the time off, I might ride up for the day, but it's not looking like that is going to happen.
