2. I think this has been discussed here before, I have been noticing over the years that my clear-coat on my tank is starting to scratch a little and I was wondering were some of you are placing the holder that was on the tank for your head-seat plug in might be now> If moved? . any pictures would be great. not sure if there is a better location for this or maybe another idea? my cord when plugged in seems to be the problem. (rubbing in that area) all the time. Thanks, Jeff
3. I uploaded our pics here: http://picasaweb.google.com/wingriders/SouthernIndianaOct09# I hope others will post their pictures here too. Great weekend, thanks again everyone.
4. Need pictures and instructions if anyone has them.Thanks.
5. Ruthy and I just got back from a vacation in Mazatlan Mexico. Thought I would share some pictures. [ame=http://www.flickr.com/photos/71257533@N00/sets/72157623310925875/show/]Mazatlan 2010@@AMEPARAM@@offsite=true&lang=en-us&page_show_url=%2Fphotos%2F71257533%40N00%2Fsets%2F72157623310925875%2Fshow%2F&page_show_back_url=%2Fphotos%2F71257533%40N00%2Fsets%2F72157623310925875%2F&set_id=72157623310925875&jump_to=@@AMEPARAM@@en-us@@AMEPARAM@@%2Fphotos%2F71257533%40N00%2Fsets%2F72157623310925875%2Fshow%2F&page_show_back_url=%2Fphotos%2F71257533%40N00%2Fsets%2F72157623310925875%2F&set_id=72157623310925875&jump_to=[/ame] Oh how I wished I could have had the bike down there with me!
6. I am cheap so I tried to find a cheap way to add lights to the rear of my Venture. I found this 2001 Venture with 4,550 mikes on it and bought it for $5,300. It was completely stock. I added a rear luggage rack for $50 and saddlebag rails for $81 and the Harley pipes for $30. Now for the lights. They are LED's and the pictures where taken in bright daylight. I know they are a little dim but I chose to add a circuit that cut the brightness in half so that I could use them as running/brake instead of just running or just brake lights. The two lights on each side of the tail light really show up good at night and the two LED light strips coat me $5.18 and that included shipping and handling. The circuit to make them running/brake cost me $4.99 and shipping another $3.99. The light under the trunk is not wired running/brake but just a brake light (my choice). It cost me $1 plus $1.59 shipping. Through in another couple bucks or the two sided tape (exterior grade) and wire. So all the LED's cost me around $15 bucks. Here are the pictures (I know how you like pictures).
7. Somewhere around the end of last summer, someone posted a link to a story a young rider wrote and documented with LOTS of pictures of a trip he took on his bike from down south all the way across the country on his old small crummy bike. (It was small, like an old 500) for the life of me I can't find it or a link to it now. All I can remember were the pictures of his old bike with the fenders tied on with wire, the engine oil running out everywhere, and the story he told of sleeping on the ground next to it. Anyone remember it?
8. On some of the posts, the pictures are about the width of the page. I have put my pictures in the smaller format to get them to load, but I like the larger pictures a lot better. They are easier to see and not having to click on them to get them to load would be a plus. Is there any downside to having bigger pictures posted as far as memory or bandwidth usage? What size are these larger pictures in pixals? RandyA
9. I have a tan corbin seat without backrest in the classified section. I couldn't get pictures reduced so you can contact me and I'll send pictures and you will have better resolution. Price is only $150 plus shipping!
10. Just installed some Harley Road King exhaust and Clearview shield. I know, I will submit pictures soon. Got the exhaust off of Ebay for $50.00 and they also had the 2 inch chrome exhaust clamp which looks great. The Clearview shield is excellent! I like the forward vent it has and the light tent. It is shorter and wider than stock and the lowers are also bigger. The bike sounds really good and the sheild is wonderful. Pictures to come soon. Mark:12101:
11. Well we had another good time at our SCRC Halloween party. There was a few Ventureriders that showed up and here some pictures. BongoBob should have a few to add. Brad
12. Thom here is the pictures of my exhaust pipes that I made for my Venture. I hope this works.
13. Hey folks... I want to get a reasonably sized tank bag with map window in it... Most of the ones I've found on line look HUGE. Anyone out there use one that they would recommend, and have pictures of it?? Thanks in advance!
14. if you don't like these, will do better next time
15. This is soooo cool. Sit back and enjoy it and then the next time click on the images. Hard to believe this was all in our lifetime. I must be old because I recognize or have heard of most of them. Whether you are a Billy Joel fan or not, you probably remember his great song, 'We Didn't Start the Fire.' Here it is, set to pictures... very, very cool. Had to share this one. It's a neat flashback through the past half century. I never did know all the words. Turn up your volume, sit back, and enjoy a review of 50 years of history in less than 3 minutes! Thanks to Billy Joel and some guy from the University of Chicago with a lot of spare time and Google. Top left gives you full screen....top right lets you pause. Bottom left shows the year. The older you are, the more pictures you will recognize. http://yeli.us/Flash/Fire.html
16. I am in the process of installing cruise control on my 1983 Venture Standard. I have purchased almost all of the items I need to do this upgrade from ebay. Prior to installing the parts, I will be disassembling the ones that I can and cleaning them. I have made the following write up of the process of cleaning the clutch side switch housing that came off of a 1988 Venture. The pictures show the switch completely removed from the bike. It is fairly lengthy, 47 pictures, but thorough. I would recommend removing switch from bike if you perform this cleaning. There are a number of small springs and ball detents that are very easy to lose unless you have a large well lit working area. If you are unable to open the PDF file, PM me with your email address and I will send it to you. I have detailed the throttle side switch in another thread. Picture below is of the switch detailed in this PDF file. 38050.pdf
17. Can you all help me with finding a good GPS mount for my RSV? Maybe pictures of yours. Thanks
18. Here are some pictures of the trike I purchased "as is" a few months back. I've put about 700 miles on it and the last 200 have been trouble free, more or less and I couldn't have done it without all the help from the members of this orginization and the technical section. 19. BOO

BSA

I had mentioned my BSA in a post recently and had a request to put some pictures in my Gallery. The pictures there are not real good, I'll have to take some better ones some day. Enjoy, BOO
20. These were some of the Pictures I took from our North East Intruder Alert Ralley. We keep it small and it enables us to do some pretty cool stuff every year. Last winter we lost one of our members to diabetes so the pictures of us up on the mountain were from a tribute ride for him. We had a small urn of some of his ashes and spread them up there. http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g51/hunter1500/th_IMG_0230.jpg http://s53.photobucket.com/albums/g51/hunter1500/th_IMG_0184.jpg
21. Is there a simple way, or instructions for a non-computer guy to post pictures? I have them on my computer but haven't found the correct button to download them to a post, did I say non-computer guy.
22. It was great to see you agian. Its a real bummer to know that you are going to be so far away. You sir are a Top Shelf Guy. You help and your insight on my bike was pricless. I made it to TN this afternoon and all is well. Got out on some twisties already:rasberry: Will have pictures for you all soon. Thank you agiain Brotha, and like I said, if you need help... Just holler. I'll be running to get there. Art
23. I cant get the bike out of the shop due to all the rain we are having here, it also needs a new battery which I will be picking up tomorrow. So for now these are the best pics I have of the finished job. As soon as the rain stops and I can get it up to the house I will have better pictures to post.
24. I had one of these on my Honda VTX1800 and really liked having a loud horn. Anyone here have one on there RSV is so where did you mount and do you have any pictures? Thanks
25. I just bought a video camera to record my 2 grand kids and our travels. What kind of program do I need to add music to the videos when i put them on a DVD. I'm hoping there is a reasonable one out there and it should make the pictures a lot more enjoyable! I realize its not bike related, but thanks in advance for any help. I'm like a babe in the woods on this!
