I just found out that Big Bob just took delivery of his new Venture/Hannigan trike, but help me convince him to upload some pics so we can all see it too! If we dont see pics it didnt happen!!!! Woo hoo Bob! Looking forward to riding to Nelson with you and that fancy rig!!! Brian

Its 99% complete, the only thing lacking is the rear master cylinder courtesy of Bongobobny, it will be here in a day or 2 and the carb diaphragms. I have ridden it, it runs good even with 2 diaphragms bad, cant wait to get all of them replaced and carb tuned. Enough chit chat on to the pics......... . Hey, need some help pretty quick. I've searched, but I can't find a thread that has instructions or pics on the install procedure for replacing the front fork springs with Progressives on a 2nd Gen. I need to know how far to break the bike down and pics of the process. Does anyone know of a link or tech article? Like I've said, I tried a few searches and got nada. I really appreciate the help.

Gorgeous day yesterday after weeks of cold, rainy, crappy weather. Was so good to get out on the scoot for the day. Snapped a few pics. i posted pictures of how the bike looks now after some cleaning. still thinking of selling the old girl. have to get it out from around back. and put tags on her. she still fires up good but just not right? will idle after a little warm up. but pops? maybe new plugs? and im sure it needs a carb sync. PO said he never new how to do it? as you can see from the pics she needs a good paint job. usual cracks. i did replace most of the fairing trim around the radio speekers on both sides i have 2 sets of side panels one set needs paint but has the chrome on them. new tires 2 years ago dunlop 404.s i will go into further details should i make the leap to sell it. i would trade for a smaller bike no less then a 450cc just to get my ride in for this season. well enough for now check out the pics in my profile and if any one wants to make an offer feel free to shoot me a PM

sad: to say i might have to sell the 1984 royal. im still fighting a workers comp case. and i still owe$2500 on the car. to have it paid in full. i know the bike wont bring in that much? it does run but like allways it needs some TLC. i have put $$ into it. and im sure a good paint job and some tunning will bring this bike back to its glory days. when the weather gets better. i will go out and uncover it and snap some pics. i know pics can make it look nice. and seeing as ones on this site have not rode it? they still might give a good offer for it? EUSA1 mike did a small run on it when he was kind enough to help me get it to my place and out of storage. he might be able to give a fair opion on the bike should he be so inclined to do so? if i should settle my workers comp cliam this summer i would be in the market for another one. now i want people to understand i am not asking in any way for help again to save the bike and keep the car? you all work hard for your money. yes i would like to keep it. but i need my car. thats an all around transportaion. as the bike is not. like i said when i get time to take pictures i shall post them. thank you all sincerly james aka oldgoat.

Is there a way to have attachments in a PM just like we Have in the forums? There have been a number of times that I wanted to sends pics back and forth in a PM but had to take the conversation to another site to have pics. At least this time I do not think the answer will be to use Google search......

Hey gang, the one's that have already installed the Buckeye HO Stator,. what did you do as far as where you clipped the connector and did you do all the soldering in that tight spot? Or is there a way to re-route it so there is more room to work on the splice? I also now have about 60 pics of my taking apart the stator and also removing the rectifer/regulator as I will be adding the new up-dated after market one that I will be getting from SkyDoc. If you guys are interested I will do the write-up with LOTS of pics. I think the hardest part of this whole project so far is getting the stator bolts loose and removeing the gasket material. As I have seen in a photo from the other site it looks as though the soldering is done up high , but I can not figure out how to get this wire/plug up there a bit. Hi all Today is the day after many hrs in the garage out of Christys hair. Im getting to paint the new bikes tour pack. The heat has been on since yesterday. The 2nd coat is on starting to look like something now. this would have so much nicer if the PO had not put all those pics on the bike but hey its coming. I know I need pics they will be coming soon now. Bull463

Well we have a grandaughter now. She weighed 8lbs 5.6 ounces. I have no idea how long she is and they haven't settled on a name yet. Just got the call and called Jeff at work to let him know. We'll be heading out tomorrow they live on the other side of Charlotte. Hopefully they'll have a name for her by then. OH and don't worry grandma will have plenty of pics once I get a hold of her. For those not familiar with the above title, the magazine is the official publication of the Iron Butt Association. Many times riders, particularly those on Long Distance rides, need to stop and rest. This may be for a whole night, a few hours or even just a 30 minute nap. While hotels and motels are favorite, there are times when that option is not necessarily the preferred one and people take all sorts of opportunities to grab a few winks. I am collecting stories and anecdotes and, in particular, high res. pics, of bikers, their bikes and any unusual situations they have slept in. Hence the comments in the other thread re: Hammocks. If you have a story you wish to share, and if you have any decent pics of a "resting" moment that you wouldn't mind being published, could you please share them in the thread below. Thanks.

I borrowed a FLIR i7 Infrared camera and did some scans of the bike. Interesting, as I found that my left rear cylinder is not firing. These pics were taken in this sequence, Cold, 1 minute, 5 minutes in this order. FR, RR, LF, LR. Each pic is time stamped, the date is wrong. The left rear is dead. Readings at the spark plug also confirm this. Also notice the lower temp at the exhaust pipe on the left. pic 247, 249, 267, 276 are all of the left rear. Now to figure out WHY this cylinder is not firing. I'll post all the pics and maybe it will help someone who knows how to read an IR pic.

I found it today here on the outer banks,I was just getting off my bike when this bike rolled into the parking lot and pulled up behind me and parked.We talked for a few and He was a CMA member went by the name of hondog and was from NH.I took a couple of pics of this GL1000 looked about a 79 model and I don't know what to do now since the bike isn't for sale,it has lots of accesories just bolted or wired on with bailing wire it seemed to be one a kind.

Hi All Hope all of you are haveing a good Christmas. Have any of you used colorite paint in the rattel can? Ive heard you have to put the clear on before the color drys all the way. I would like some input on this and any pics would be great. Thanks Bull463

Thought I'd share a few pics of my kids and grandkids....Each year we have a new theme for Christmas eve. This year was "hats"...I'm missing a few pics of a couple of my grandsons.. They were at their moms house....oh yea, Buffalo Bodnar was here also ! We had a grand time.....
