Any of you guys out there ever fitted a tank bag to your mount? Having traded my Pan European in for my 2000 RSV I was left with a brand new Baglux bag but no way of getting a tank bag cover for it to fit on (Baglux don't make one for an RSV). I've tried to see if anything else in the Baglux range might fit ie Kawa, Suzi etc but no luck. Any ideas?

I'm considering doing the V-Max rear end swap since I will be pulling a trailer on trips. Is there a place that is recommended for getting one of these? And is there a group of years that fit a 99 Venture? Also is this a great improvement over a stock rear end? Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions> Big Mike

I don't know if I'm out of line by offering these or not, but I am a cellular phone dealer and have come across a great set of quality headphones. They have great sound, braided cables, several different earpieces to fit any ear(and keep the wind out), mic for cellphone usage, 3.5 mm jack to fit most cells and Ipods. If anyone would like a set I can offer them to our group for 49.99. I'm not set up for paypal -would have to be money order or cks. If interested you can email at vtludwig@ctcweb.net

Ordered a pair of diamond gusset ridding pants. They are lined with Kevlar in all the right places. They fit good and are very comfortable so i asked the wife if she wanted to order a pair for her. She asked me to hold off a while, so i waited. next she wanted that old leather coat that didn't fit any more. Well, being creative as all ways, she took the largest pair of jeans she had, took them apart and sewed patches of leather in all the right places and then put them back together. they look great and she says they are comfortable. She saved me more than $100 for more stuff for the RSV. Thats my girl! Just thought some might like to use her idea.

I used to have one of those wooden-bead seat covers that was made for a cage seat, that I had trimmed down to fit my 83 venture years ago. After several years use, it finally fell apart. I've been remembering how comfy that thing was and was thinking about making another one. Today while in Wallyworld, I spotted one for $8.97 and bought it. This one is shaped a little different from the other one I had and it fit my venture seat right out of the bag without having to do a thing to it but weave 4 bungee cords through it to hold it to the seat. I did some riding on it this afternoon and it's sure more comfortable than the stock seat by itself, and yes, there is definitely a noticeable cool and steady flow of air down-under. It was cooler than usual here today and the cool flow of air underneath got downright chilly. It's not the most attractive seat cover on a bike but for 8 bucks, it does one heck of a job.

Hey guys, when installing new clutch parts, the wire ring holding the half friction, half disc and half spring plate, how does this fit in or how is it installed? I took out these half parts when I had done the PCW mod and now reverting the bike back to the original configuration but now I can't remember how this is supposed to fit in? Anyone able to shed some light as to what or how this goes together again? Desperate to get info tonight! Thanks in advance!

OK guys. I screwed my courage to the sticking point and with a good buddy we are taking the tires off the 87. Following Freebirds pictures and a bit of native intelligence we did OK - except - for that daggone rear wheel brake caliper retaining bolt - the rear bolt that attaches to the bracket. It just won't come off. It is damaged as well. and the socket wont fit on it any more. How the heck do we get it off? The bolt head is chewed up something awful. Any ideas out there in Venture Land?
