I ordered (and paid for) the 'Big Mirrors' for my Venture from 'thecycleking' which, as I understand it, represent Harber's Cycle. The purchase was made on ebay and paid with paypal. That was some two months ago. So far there has been no product, no answer to my emails (X4) and they haven't answered their phone (X2). I also completed the ebay resolution procedure which said that my complaint has been filed but that appears to be as far as that goes. It is not my intent to sully this company's reputation, as hopefully this is a unique situation and a simple mistake, but I am not sure of how to proceed next. Their reputation on ebay appears to be stellar. Has anyone here dealt with Harber's Cycle recently? Suggestions? Thanks. Jdix

Looking for a Speedo Healer. I have seen a few on Ebay. Manufacturer web page lists at $109. I see many on Ebay for $109. Are they cheaper at any dealers? I have checked Barons, BikerHiway, and CruiserCustomizing and none of them list a speedo healer. Calsportbikes.com is the only place I can find it.

I just started looking at this thing and the bid price includes shipping to anywhere in the US. I didn't believe it, so I read it again.. carefully. Yep... includes shipping... Right now it's at $1000 and if I didn't already own a few VR's I'd be in the mix. Bike shows promiss. Only 19,000 miles... Since my links don't ever seem to work Ebay search for # 110404430985.

OK, my wife isn't too fond of the passenger pegs on my 84 VR and she'd like to have some passenger floorboards instead. Trouble is, there isn't a whole lot of them on Ebay at the moment. Is there another source for these other than Ebay? -

Just scrolled down the page to the ebay items for sale and saw an XXL bike cover (to suit the RSV) for sale for 99c - Buy It Now. So I did! Will be shipped from China (what isn't these days) and freight to Australia was $20. Now, that's $20.99 which through PayPal equates to nearly $US35. Still a bargain I reckon. What the heck. I'm fairly confident it'll arrive safe and sound, and if it doesn't I'm protected by PayPal. Anybody else purchased a similar item through this system? Any problems encountered?

Tried searching internet for the V-Twin clamp 31-9920 chrome clamp to mount HD mufflers to the RSV Is this something that can come from HD dealer or other bike shop. I did see some on Ebay but don't like dealing with it so does anybody have a part # or web site to get these. -
Pulled my Air Box (again) to remove the defective ignition Module and relocater it, and decided to see how well my sliders were moving. Well, found the right front would only open halfway and seem to hit a stop. Took it apart this evening and found that the entire diaphragm and piston assembly had come apart!! It honestly looks like someone tried to replace a diaphragm and used packing tape to hold the washer for the rubber in place after prying it apart!! Found the tape on the spring! Luckily, I had a brand new diaphragm and puiston assembly I bought off ebay a couple of yearsw ago to have on hand. Also, not a single torx screw to be found on any of the carbs. Hmmm, wonder if it was the same brain child that wired my chin lights directly to the accessory line before the fuse... -

I know that I have seen lists of ebay listings on bikes that have sold in the last couple months posted here before. If anybody know how to do this, could you pull and PM me a list of 1st gens sold in the last 2 months? The Tax man said I will need this to get an average of what the Rafflebike donation is worth so we'll know what to claim next year.

The Captain's Starship is running heavy......primarily from all the unsold Venture parts in the cargo hold. Mr. Sulu tells me I need to get rid of some of the extra weight or I'll never reach warp speed......so here's what I'll do. In the "1st Gen. parts for sale" section, I'll be posting a new thread called "Help Save the Enterprise" in which each week I will list a part, some previously listed, some not, for a stupidly low price (against Mr. Spock's wishes; he tells me this is not logical!) just to get rid of this stuff. I'm tired of tripping over it; it's cramping my style! Each part will run at the special price for one week, from there it's on to eBay for whatever I can get out of it or back in the regular classifieds at the regular price. I would much rather these parts go to one of you than some eBay shark. Check early; check often (just like voting in Chicago!)

I have an 84 that I was going to fix and ride but after playing with it and taking inventory of the problems that need fixing,mainly the motor smokes like crazy but still runs fairly well I think I am going to part it out. Take a look at my ad if there is anything anyone wants. I was thinking about dropping a 1300 in the frame but dont seem to be alot around here and way to much money on ebay for something I know nothing about.Maybe later I will buy a 1300 that I can actually ride with fewer problems.Also have new set of Diaphrams I just got from Sirius and a heavy duty fork brace. -
I've been looking for a while on the net and local dealors and the like. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I've seen these lights in pics on here but cant remember who had them. It was on a trailer and that is what I want them for. they are shaped like a directional arrow and appeared to be flush mount. If anyone could point me in a direction of where to find these I would be greatfull. I found one on ebay sold individually at $43 plus shipind and handling. That would be too much for a pair. Any help would be greatly apreciated. David

I am looking for a set of handlebar speakers. Was looking at some of the cheaper one on ebay. Just cannot justify 400-500 for the name brands, for that price i will just do a fairing. Anyone have any feedback on the ebay speakers. I am looking at this one. Anybody else having this problem on eBay? For the last two days I have not been able to select the sort catagory for my searches. I log in and everything works as normal but when I go to my saved search and open it I get the "Best Match" catagory as usual, then when I try to select any other sort catagory it just cycles for a few seconds and dies. DOA! It's doing that on every search I have and I have deleted my searches and re-entered new ones with the same result. I've rebooted, virus scanned, washed and cleaned and not seeing what could cause this. Any ideas?

I occasionally surf thru ebay and have found some good stuff and some junk. I am also amazed at what some of these folks think their stuff is worth. It is not uncommon to see something listed for a buy-it-now price of $150 and on the next page, the same thing listed for $20 and still no or very few bids. My question, as it pertains to this forum is; if I see something I think others may need or want, should I flag it to the masses on here? Because, when I am watching something that I want, I don't want someone blabbing to the world about it. When I am bidding, I kind of feel it is everyone else's tough luck if they do not spend the effort to look on ebay. But, when I come across something I think you guys may want, I want to flag it to the group. I would really like to know how others feel about this. RandyA
