Sorry - posted that last one under 1st Gen.... Regardless - somebody (appears to be a bike salvor) is parting a low mileage Millenium. Greatful that my Millenium is not in need of anything... but I also know how hard it is to find Millenium specific parts (tank, trunk, fairings, bags, etc). Much as I hate to see anybody take one of these apart.... if you need Millenium specific parts... look now on eBay.

Has anyone mounted a steering damper to their 1st Generation Venture? If you have, could you post a photo or email me one. I'm getting a pretty good wobble and all the experts recommend a damper to correct this problem when a sidecar is mounted. I have a damper that I bought on Ebay but am looking for ideas on where to attach it to the front end of the bike. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, probably not the right folder but.... Has anyone dealt with this eBay seller? Pinwall Cycleparts http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=350090091169&Category=10066 They list a crash bar that would replace my, ahem, "bent" one... It's a bit hard to tell from the pics how bad the "road rash" is but it looks straight - can you see any thing wrong with it?

Is anyone having trouble connecting to the ebay link at the bottom of the home page . When I go to the bottom of the ebay list I see that there is 290 articles for sale. When I click on the link it comes up with 2700 articles for sale many of which are not related to bikes. Does anyone have a suggestion???

I just picked up that V-Max final on Ebay. Thinking about installing it in the '91... once I get that oil leak plugged.... Should be interesting....

I just wanted to let everyone here know that I have my Garmin 450 on Ebay. Just like the posting says, it's in perfect condition, used last spring break on a 1000mi San Francisco trip and a few times in the car around town. The unit also comes with a car kit with car power chord, and a 2gb Sandisk high speed SD card. If anyone has any questions please let me know. Hi All I could use some help with the interchangability of parts. I am trying to buy chrome or billet rotor and caliper covers for my 86 vr. I found a set on ebay that are listed as 83 to 85. The lister doesnt know whether the will fit or not so i thought someone here might.

I bought this off ebay from a regular vender. I was very disappointed in the quality of the "finishing". Before I bought this one, I asked on this forum about a cheaper "after-market" version for $80 on ebay. Consensus was that it did not have the 4 supports and others had their trunk lids crack as a result. So I paid more and got the "Yamaha" accessory. The factory pic used by 3 retailers is the same - NO detail options to zoom in. I am posting here with pics I took to find out if others who have this rack can tell me if this one has defective or left over weld marks on the 2 front curved legs at the female ends where it mounts onto the lid. The 2 straight rear legs are finished properly. Thanks for looking! -

I am having a problem with an Ebay seller, who is also a member of this board. I thought I'd vent a bit, and let folks know about what going on. About a month ago I picked up a couple of auctions from him, and sent the guy a check ,since he doesn't take paypal. I waited for about 3 weeks and then checked my checking account online, and saw that it hadn't cleared yet. So I contacted him asking about the check. He said he'd never received it, but I'd never received a notice from Ebay about it either. OK, so I go to his website and go ahead and send him a VISA payment. I also said I'd put a stop-pay on the original check. I drug my feet, and didn't do it right away. My bad. I received the items in about 3 days...great.., but when I went onliine with my bank to take care of the stop pay, bigger than all get out, there's the check taken out of my balance. Amazingly it was cashed about the same time the VISA payment had been made. So I email the seller about it. 4-5 times over 5 days. I called him on the phone...all I get is a busy signal...24/7. I think I'm being ignored as he's still currently posting items for sale on Ebay. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle getting my secong payment back, or even if I ever will. Filing bank fraud is one way, and contesting the VISA payment might be another, or I may have just been scammed. Loosing the money isn't going to kill me, but it sure pisses me off....

HeloMech reminded me of a question I want to ask the many riders out there with his discussion of the blue dot, which was very interesting by the way. The question I have is about the rotating LED tail light bulbs I've seen for sale on ebay. Has anyone tried them? If so, do you like them, and what are the advantages? Okay, so more than one question. Looking for opinions. Thanks Glenn

I am meeting with the adjuster this morning to see what my wrecked 87' Venture Royale is worth in his eyes. There has not been as many to compare to on ebay this last week or so. WISH me LUCK I will need it! Any prices from 87' sold in your area? Regards Dave

I just listed a new RSTD Mustang seat on Ebay. I took it in for trade on a backrest that I made for another board member. It is for sale cheap because I don't care for the seating position it gives. It pushes you forward about 2 inches farther than the stock seat. The item number is 120279187965. AL -
First Gen business that is. Is it just me or have you noticed? First gen prices for scoots and parts are going high on Ebay compared to last year.Maybe the first gen reputation is getting around thanks to the site.

Anyone have one of these windshields for 1st Gen they actually go past part of the mirror. The web site doesnt do it justice the bike has the normal wwindshield on it. I picked this bike up on Ebay last year for $4500. Cost about $900 in used Ebay parts to get her on the road and about $2000 to make her look good.
