HeloMech reminded me of a question I want to ask the many riders out there with his discussion of the blue dot, which was very interesting by the way. The question I have is about the rotating LED tail light bulbs I've seen for sale on ebay. Has anyone tried them? If so, do you like them, and what are the advantages? My speedo stopped working the other day after going through a bumpy construction area. We took the cable out from the bottom and inspected the cable itself and it looks fine. I have two questions: 1) anybody have a speedo for sale? 2) there is a dash for sale on E-Bay for the earlier 1st gen....will that fit a later vintage 1stgen ('87) as well? Thanks

What is the chrome trim piece called that goes around the base of the rear end of the bike,under the saddlebags and across the rear, some have louvers in them some have lights. Does anyone have one for sale or know where I could get one/ Thanks Sorry, I need it to fit a 89 Vr

Hi, I'm missing the hazard switch from my 84 Venture Royal, however after going over the wiring loom I can't find where the 5 pin plugs located, should it be on the right side or behind the headlamp? I've looked but I'm stumped, not sure if it's been cut off:detective: as there's no battery plug as well, that's also been cut off as I can see the white/red wire. If anyone's got one for sale with the right hand grill please let me know. Things get better, playing around under the dash and now, the onboard computer's not working, great. I've taken the clock off now and will give them a good going over.

found this at a yard sale today 1970 kawasaki trail boss 100 gave $75.00 for it needs some parts but it should be fun to play with when I get it running dont need much a seat and a ingntion switch. and I put on a new set of Elll radils total price for mount and bal. $251.98 was that to much

Just posted my 2007 Royal Star Venture: http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=1180 I have my 2005 QuickSilver back on the road, so no longer need the second RSV! This is a fantastic bike in EXCELLENT condition, but I just like my original 2005 a little better. I picked it up with 3,000 miles on it, them put another 10,000 hitting Daytona and the Florida Keys this year. Added a lot of extras. This bike is a sweet running machine with no significant whine, and I'd love to place it with someone who will love it and use it! Goose

Evidently over the years..the backrest(passengers) on the trunk of my bike has gotten very dirty and needs cleaned.I've only had this bike for 2 yrs,so all this dirt isn't my fault.During this past summer I'd put the bike up for sale and had it sitting out in the sun.What has happened is...all the (probably Armorall) thats been applied has had a melt down.In various places the leather has sticky spots on it. It almost reminds me of the sapp you get on a peach tree. In trying to remove it I've found the true color of the leather....Outside border is a dark brown,while the inner panel is a lighter brown. Problem is...it's not all coming off and it's blotchy at best.Heres the things I've tried so far. Armorall leather cleaner...Spic&Span...Murphys oil soap..and even finger nail remover (in small spot) nothing seems to get it all.The sale of the bike could hinge on me getting it cleaned OR if someone has a all dark brown one for sale. I am preparing to repaint my 83, and understand that the 86 and later had a larger trunk than the 83-85. A larger trunk would be nice, but not having seen one to compare, is there a significant difference? Does it mount on the same rack? Not that I have seen one for sale recently that was worth buying, but since I am getting ready to paint, now would be the time to make the switch. Any advice would be appreciated. -

I have a J&M elite headset for sale. Is 2yrs old, comes with the 5 pin connection cord for the 2nd GEN.... New it would cost $229.00 from J&M, asking 150.00 you pay shipping. I bought a new helmet with a headset pre-installed and don't really need the 2nd headset so I am willing to remove it from the helmet and sell it. PM me if you are interested

hi all there is a '06 rsv for sale with 3,600 miles on it. i meet the owner about 9 months ago. we compaired my '99 rsv to his '06. it's the red/maroon color, his is a retired in huntsville,texas. he had bought the bike to ride with his son. i remember him saying ( he was going to have eye surgey soon, and was a little worried about rideing the bike). meet the son a week ago, said dad was doing ok but had decided to sale the bike. the son carl hicks jr. said it was ok to pass along this info and contact # if anyone was interested. his asking 12,500 or obo. son's # is 936-714-1293. said he could e-mail pictures and more info. thanks & ride safe don / gunboat

I was in the right place at the right time. Bought a 1995 Harley Softail Heritage Classic with 15,000 miles on it. Bike is like brand new. Don't know what I will do with it yet since I already have one, but I will figure something out.
