  1. I lost one of the screws for the side cover. Part # 90149-06298-00 I have found a couple of suppliers but some want $13 to ship a $1.44 part. Are they any places with reasonable shipping for a couple of these? Its a real pain searching because most of them you have to set up an account to find out what the shipping charges are. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. I'm about 90 miles south. North Port. I am interested in the hockey game. Of course would have to consider the ticket price before making a final decision. Ross
  3. A local leather shop made this bra for me. His suggestion was to fasten the bottom through the bottom tank bolt rather than use clips. I am very happy with it. Only cost me $50.
  4. Was out there in 2006, great riding for sure. Just about any road is great. We saw some road warning signs I have never seen before We need to get back soon.

  10. This is how a guy that comes to our dog park rides his pooch.
  11. 1999 RSV with 57,000 miles When I put my blinkers on or when I push to cancel, switch feels kind of mushy, and sticks a bit. Can I just shoot some lube in there? Or is that a bad idea? If I do have to take it apart to clean it, what do I need to watch out for? I can already imagine some little spring flying out and hiding in a far corner of the garage. Thanks, Ross
  12. 1/8" equals 3.5mm....same thing.
  13. Isn't 1/8" and 3.5mm the same plug size?
  14. I have a few of the iPod shuffles, the ones that are a liitle bigger than a stamp. Some are 1GB holds about 250 songs and 2GB holds about 500 songs. Americana on one, Country on one, Oldies on one and so on and so on. Charge them all up before we leave and never have to worry about charging during trip. Everytime one comes up for sale on CraigsList for $20 or less I snap it up.

  16. I have heard from a couple of people that swear by the Harbor Freight PowerPacks. The price is right. I will need to have a serious look at one of those. Thanks for the suggestions. Ross
  17. I would like to find a PowerPack / Portable Power Supply that does not have an air compressor or the jumper cables. Is there such an animal? I need it to run my sleep machine when we camp and kayak. Anybody know if there is such a thing? Thanks, Ross
  18. Forgiven. Great to meet you. Lookin' forward to next time. Ross and Sue
  19. You must be really tired. I was sitting across the table from your Mom.
  20. I'm not sure why they seem to come in just under $3000. Someone told me once that it may be due to a greater penalty if scamming someone for over $3000. I say if it's a dollar or a million they scam, don't matter: let em swing.
  21. I was very conflicted when I rode the Spyder. For about 5 miles I'd be saying to myself this is great, then the next 5 miles I'd be saying to myself this sucks. Lots of power, great brakes. If I was not able to ride a two wheeler, I'd be on one. Not ready for one yet. Ross
  22. I talked to Edsets earlier today. He understands what I am trying to do. He said he didn't have a mic only.
  23. We have J&M headsets in our helmets and the speakers hurt our ears on long rides. We would like to try earbuds. It doesn't look like I can remove the speakers without cutting wires. I don't want to cannibalize our headsets in case we want to go back to them someday. Is there a place to get a microphone only with a 5 pin plug? Any other ideas or suggestions? Thanks, Ross
  24. Another way is: I put my socket on the bolt and then clamped a vise grip on the socket to turn it. Worked good. If I remember right it was a bugger getting it started back in.
