  1. Hey Squeeze...sorry my friend, but it was not one of ours.... (Thank God..) It was made by Orbital in Tucson, Arizona It was a "Taurus II" rocket, which has a six for eight mission success rate ..to date. http://www.orbital.com/SpaceLaunch/Taurus/ Eck my Friend, I did know that before, i've read the Story last Night on the Internet News. I just wanted to poke you a Bit...:whistling: I'm sorry if you feeling hurt. On the serious Side, six out of eight isn't a really good Ratio, isn't it ? I Kind of wonder why they thrust such Adventures with such expensive Payload ? Ok, "expensive" is relative in Space Technology Terms, but i believe there must be some "cheaper" Payload out there to learn and achieve better Results ?
  2. I guess Eck's Buddies screwed up on this one. Seeing the Title of the Thread, I thought i'd have to advise you to a Wide Band Commander .... :whistling:
  3. Or the Anti-Seize has set in where the Glue should be ... Or the Anti-Seize Chemicals interact with the Glue in any Direction ... I wouldn't take any chance. The proper Glue will help you out, no Doubt, but if if there goes something wrong, you won't want to clean up that mess and start all over again! Clean up everything, follow the Procedures, let it cure and tap the Thread when setting Time is over. Nothing else.... (Just my Suggestions)
  4. Yes, sure i'm serious. My Father glued the Teeth back in Place on the straight Gear of the Rotary Assembly of his Girder Mast Crane. It held up for one Year each Time on normal use. But this was 30 Years ago !! I can't name the Product, because it's not available in US, but i believe if you look into the Loctite Production Line, you will find the right Stuff there also. You have to be very clean and watch out any Step of the Procedure, but it will work. I think you will need a fitting Tap and retap the Thread after the Pieces are back together. I admit, I'm lighting up too much, but nothing illegal, not even the Doormat !! And .... the Part you broke is the upper Part of the Cam Bearing ....
  5. That's about the only Way to do a smart Repair Job. TIG Weld, even a good two Component Glue will do the Trick. Only other reasonable Way is to replace the whole Cylinder Head. I wouldn't put a Stud in, because you might end up with not getting the Cover on with the Motor in Frame. Just weld or glue the Parts togehter.

This goes for the North-Eastern Hemisphere. I couldn't have said it better. Thanks for expressing my Feelings.
  7. That's uncommon. No Doubt, those SBS are good Pads, but the Way i experieneced and heard, the SBS are causing a bit more Wear than the EBC. Not to mention the SBS Prices are at the upper End, at least here.
  8. NOPE, he never would do that !!
  9. Maybe he has his Family Tartan Colors painted to the Bike Parts ??
  10. You normally don't get in Touch with Brake Fluid while changing the Pads ... No need to dress up for that Issue. :D
  11. You're welcome!!
  12. Racetech is a good Idea and the MKII Forklegs will fit without any Problems on a MKI.
  13. It's true. I've seen the "Bike" in Person at a Motorcycle Show two Weeks ago. The Pics don't do justice. This Thing IS HUGE !!! But the Tires also looked as they have been used. The Company is not far away from my Home.
  14. EBC HH are Sintererd Pads, don't know what you mean with metallic ?
  15. The EBC HH Pads are rated very good here. They last well and put not too much Wear on the Rotors. On a 1Gen, you can use them front and rear without any Issue whatsoever. On 2Gen, if you feels the rear Brake as touchy or sensitive already, it might be a better Choice to use the standard organic Compound.
  16. You could shop around at the Vmax Sites, there should be a milled/turned Oil Filler Cap where y Hose can be conneted. Route the Hose upwards and then feed it back into the Oil Filler. This Idea is from Dyno Stage7 Kit.
  17. That's cheating !!! but slick !!! :thumbsup2::thumbsup2:
  18. Froggy, i've heard from well informed Folks due to the economic Crisis Winter is put on hold and Spring is delayed for 30 to 45 Days. That's the Prognosis as it looks now, the Spring delay could even be delayed further more without notice.
  19. Now, that was not nice !!! :crying: But i'll translate slick98spirit wrote ... Even though I lived in Gronau, Westfalen for one Year in 1989, my german is bad. Can you understand me ? i answered ... Danke dafuer. Of Course i can understand you. Your german is better than my english. My Wife was born and raised near Gronau. It's a nice little Town. Lot's of Member's have been in Germany for a Tour during their Time in Service. Thank you for your Service. R U satisfied ?? :happy34:
  20. We have a Lot of limited Autobahn too George. I'm not often riding on the Superslabs, limited or not. Yes, it's fun emptying a Tank on fullt Throttle, but it's getting old after that. Backroads are much more Fun and i live near the "Black Forest". My 1Gen Max is tuned for "go fast at Back Roads and cornering at high Speeds" and i just love it. There's next to nothing which can hold up with a well tuned Max torquing out of tight Corners, a little Sideways and with little blue Smoke coming from the rear Tire :missingtooth: Now, entering such tight Corners is Way more Work than on a Sports bike, but as my Friend Joe from Swiss says all the Time.... "It's a cr....y Job to ride a Max through the Twisties, but somebody has to the Job !!!" The new Max seems doing well on these Purpose, still no Sports Bike on the Entry, but feels a Lot easier than my 1Gen Max. Very well balanced Ride, you even can't feel it's heavy Weight when you lift it off the Side Stand. But you can have the rear tire blowing Smoke while the Bike lifts the front Wheel at the very same Time. As a huge Advantage, it almost never will snap into your Face when opening up to WOT in low Gear like your Busa does. Yes, you can do Wheelies, but the long Swing arm and the overall Data makes it harder to lift the front Wheel.
  21. The Name Elefantentreffen goes back to 1956 were a Guy made up Meeting for winter riding Folks with the the Zuendapp KS 601, a Sidecar Rig, which was called "the green Elephant". The Name stuck since.
  22. Well Rick, sometimes you hafta pay the Fun Fee .... Nice try to sneak in that you're actually riding while most of us can't.... :stickpoke:
Danke dafuer.
  24. George, just keep your Savings together and don't look at that underpowered 2Gen again!! I've heard there are some very good Deals on brand '09 Vmaxxes out there ... Might take a Look there !!! Probably not as fast as the Busa on a 1/4 Mile, but up to 120 threre nothing which can hold Water against it.
  25. That Meeting isn't in eastern Europe. That the 53rd annual "Elefantentreffen" in south Germany, Bavaria to exact, 40 km south of Passau this Year. There are People from all over Europe there. Looks like they hadn't much of Fun this Year, almost no Snow on the Ground. Yes, i think this Folks are somewhat crazy, but those are true Riders and the Party is Fun each Year.
