    Hey Mike...great info on the airbox fix. That will be the next item on my to do list for the off season. I find the effects of PMS are not quite as bad when I'm working on the ol' girl.

    I'm sure someone will pipe in if I'm mistaken but I think what you refer to as a vacuum advance is a cruise control actuator.

    Mike...I disagree with the comment that gold and silver would be worth dirt...this and precious stones (or anything rare) would have a reduced value at least for a while but not long term. Personally, I have the skills to survive if not the means (ie; weapons etc) but at the end of the day I agree with Freebird.

    Don't know if the spark plug access is the same on gen2 as gen1 but if it is, you'll need a very thin wall socket.

    Unless you reeeely know how to use starting fluid properly...I would stay away from it. We've had many an engine come into our shop with broken rings or ring grooves. Just sayin.

    What is your engine hoist rated for? Keep in mind the weight rating is usually with the lifting arm at it's shortest length...the more you extend the arm, the less it can lift safely. Just sayin'.

    WOW!!! I belong to the local SCRC and we have riders on everything from scooters to Goldwings to Harleys (and one red MK1 VentureLOL). That brand restriction is certainly not on the club constitution and I doubt (hope not) it's a common thing within the SCRC organization.
