  5. Wow...didn't even know it was available in synthetic! But does it work with older incandescent blinkers or do I have to change over to LEB's?

  8. all the ice cream on the planet was eaten by strange creatures who followed Dragonslayer through the worm hole
  9. That's cool...thanks for that!
  10. I even lucked into a nice set of Kuryakin ISO Dually highway pegs at a very good price. My first piece of bling.
  11. Rent one for a week or even a weekend. Then you really know if it fits!
  12. Have you considered a trailer with a toy hauler bay. I've drooled over a few while camping. Some even have a full screen so you can leave the loading ramp down and turn the bay into a sitting room when the mosquitoes get bad. Maybe when I retire...............
  13. I agree...internal patch and keep checking pressure before, during and after EVERY ride!!
  14. That "side to side" movement is what I would be concerned with...sounds like a bad bearing to me IMHO.
  15. And the bike performed like I knew she would...absolutely flawless. The time went buy like nothing at all...I was worried it would feel like a really long trip but not at all.
  16. Well this past weekend I took my longest trip so far (800 Klicks round trip). I know this is just a small jaunt for some of y'all but not for me! Rode up (solo) to Sudbury to visit my folks and took my 69 year old Mom on her first ever motorcycle ride. The grin on her face and the thank you hug made the trip more than worthwhile. Mom has Alzheimer's and I just hope she remembers this for a while. But if not...I'll be very happy to repeat as often as I can.
  17. Yep...I always listen to that little voice! When the other voices chime in and start arguing though...I ignore them:cool10:
  18. Yeah...you know you're in trouble when she just smiles at you and walks away.
  19. That'll buff right out :rotf:
  20. Have to admit I did not read every post in this thread but the problems of belt separation and chunks coming off mentioned are very typical of under inflation. Someone mentioned the recommended tire pressure is 50 psi...if tires are checked "hot", that could be a problem. Some tires are more prone to under inflation than others...I have to think the root cause for most of these failures would indeed be under inflation IMHO!
  21. Hey Ghostman, Any chance you could post (or PM me) a close up of the foot board/brake pedal set-up. Looks like you ol' girl has the same as mine but with a better pedal position relative to the footboard than mine. Nice ride you have there!!
