    I also have a set of J&M I don't use anymore. They are the universal set that can be used with a full face helmet, flip face or 3/4 helmet.

    I have never noticed the J&M ones do that. But, like I said, it only happens with openface helmet and the stubby shield. I can still her the wife with the IC turned down(unfortunately) LOL. I personally think the speakers are better on the IMC ones and the mic is on the J&M. I decided I liked the looks of the ones from IMC because they went in the hole the manf. of the helmet made for it and I could not get that from J&M.

    I have used the J&M universal headsets for years on my openface helmets/flipface helmets and liked them. After I had already boughten my EXO900 helmet I seen that they have the headset made specifically for that helmet. ie: it fits in the opening once you remove the plate. I contacted J&M to buy the kit and was told that they wouldn't sell it to me. I had to buy the complete helmet or ship them my helmet and they would install it. Crazyness. Anyways, I looked around and found a different headset at half the price. I took a gamble and am glad I did. The speakers were half the thickness and I didn't have to alter the helmet to put them in. In my opinion the speakers were as good or maybe even better than the J&M ones. The only drawback I have is when I run the stubby shield I get more windnoise in my mike with the face removed. This is resolved by turning down the IC volume.     We just had the Michigan wall come to Grand Rapids and we get the National one at the end of July. The 25th I believe. These are awesome events if you have never been to one. God Bless!!!

    I owned one before the Venture. They are fast off the line and you better hold one when the V boost kicks in or your on the ground....NOTE: be careful with the V boost when you have a passenger unless you want to ride wheelies!! LOL. The bike isn't as stable up over about 125 or so and doesn't handle like the crotch rockets will. All that said, its a fun bike and you can have some fun blowing the doors off of the crotch rockets in town when they think your just another cruiser to mess with. LOL

    Sorry to hear this news. But as a believer we know that he is well and healthy again and with his loved ones who have gone before him. Prayers for the family as they deal with the loss.

    I got some new ones this year that I like better than the J&M's I have had. Sound is better and the speakers are alot thinner and easier to install. Here is the link. www.imcmoto.com The headsets for the Honda goldwing are the ones that work with the RSV. They are cheaper than the J&M's as well.

    You know Dan...1st gens aren't really faster, its just the ride is so much smoother and comfortable on a second gen that were just relaxed and enjoying the ride why you are in a hurry to "get there" because you can't wait to get off the darn thing.

    Let us respect our own country and learn to take care of our own children, our family and our honor, our United States Veterans. I feel sorry for those children in those other countries. Shame on their leaders and some of their ways of life for all this death. But lets take care of home first. Sorry to have somewhat vented about this. And if I have offended some, then just delete my post. But this is how I feel about this. Regards to all, Fuzzy I'm not offended....I'm encouraged that I'm not alone in these thoughts!!!!

    How about this for incintive. If you miss more than 5 scheduled days to work out in 6 mths you have to trade all your 1st gens in for a (99)2012 2nd Gen?

    Thanks for the prayers everyone. I was at the funeral home yesterday and the family is taking it about as well as can be expected. The husband was out of the hospital and was there. He is pretty banged up but wasn't going to be away from there. I passed everyones prayers along and the family is grateful.
