  1. Billy was excited about his first day at school. So excited in fact, that only a few minutes after class started, he realized that he desperately needed to go to the bathroom. So Billy raised his hand politely to ask if he could be excused. Of course the teacher said yes, but asked Billy to be quick. Five minutes later Billy returned, looking more desperate and embarrassed. "I can't find it", he admitted. The teacher sat Billy down and drew him a little diagram to where he should go and asked him if he will be able to find it now. Billy looked at the diagram, said "yes" and went on his way. Well five minutes later he returned to the class room and says to the teacher "I can't find it". Frustrated, the teacher asked Tommy, a boy who has been at the school for a while, to help him find the bathroom. So Tommy and Billy go together and five minutes later they both returned and sat down at their seats. The teacher asked Tommy "Well, did you find it?" Tommy was quick with his reply: "Oh sure, he just had his boxer shorts on backwards"
  2. Dispite it being winter time here in Nebraska, our weather last weekend was in the mid 50's. I called Patroman46 to see if he could ride after lunch. I sent him a text just as I was suiting up. He returned my text, indicating the " MANURE" spreader broke down and he could not go. Has any one heard of a " Crappier" excuse???
  3. Please say a prayer for my wife and I. Our 28 year old daughter passed away in her sleep on October 15th. We have just returned from Canada after laying her to rest and are trying to deal with the grief and sorrow. The autopsy results will take 5 to 6 months:95:
  4. Well, we just got back home after a week on the road to attend the America's 911 Foundation 10th anniversary ride. http://www.americas911ride.org/ What an awesome experience. Almost 2000 bikes on a fully escorted group ride from Summerset Pa. to Arlington Va. and New York NY. People lining the streets and overpasses in all the little and big towns we passed through, all along the route. A group of ten of us left from Burlington Ontario last Thursday and returned today. This included three Peel Region (Toronto area) Motor Cops who helped with the escort. They came in handy a couple of times for us on the way down and back as well. I'm so happy we were able to do this ride but for various reasons, I won't get into, I will not do it again.
  5. My wife and I just returned from what is probably our last trip of the year. We left for the Amana Colonies yesterday morning at 0700 and just now returned. It was a nice short trip, (515 miles), but most of the fall leaves have already fallen. We took our new LITTLE MD80 video camera with us and clipped it to my wife's dew rag. I am anxious to see the videos to see how they turned out. I will post them to YouTube if they come out okay. We took our Roadstar trailer so we could load up on wine, beer and Root Bear. I averaged 34mpg at approx. 75 to 80mph. - Better than usual. The bike ran great. But I will have to check the heater out. It didn't seem to work as well this trip. Craigr
  6. I just returned from a 2000 mi trip on my trusty 1989 Venture. I was close to Canada so the mornings were chilly! Each morning when I would get to the bike there would be a spot, about the size of a small plate, of antifreeze under the right side of the motorcyle. I would top off the expansion tank and about 5 minutes later the leaking stopped and would not appear until the next morning. Now I am back in the Midwest and it has not leaked a drop since I returned. Any ideas?
  7. While golfing this afternoon, we found a wedge on the 10th hole, a Titleist head cover on the 18th and a WALLET on the 15th. Returned the first two on the course and just had the young guy leave with his "100% intact wallet" in his possession, great to see the happiness and relief on his face!! I lost mine 3 years ago in a mad dash to get to the hospital, and a 15 year old girl returned it with the whole $300 intact, had to give her the $$ I was SO relieved and to be honest, amazed ..... something I won't forget and as stated above, something I plan on "paying forward" for as long as I live. Feels great!! I highly recommend it!
  8. I just received my Cortech leather jacket from New Enough. These guys are a class act. I ordered a large size which turned out to be too small. I returned the jacket and re-order an X large. I returned the large, got the shipment and my credit for the return all within one week. These folks kept me posted via e-mail all week so I knen when they shipped the orginal, re-shiped the correct, when they received the return and when my credit card was creited. WOW---Great service and the Jacket is really nice.
