Hip, I just retired at the end of June. Once things settle down around here I want to start venturing out a little. Hopefully the huricane doesn't hit us or ya'll too hard, but I am afraid that might not be the story.
-
Nobody would want to see it if it was on the rear.

Hope you get well soon. The pain is just temporary, your life is forever. My prayers are out for ya. Lyle

I went to the game this morning. It was the earliest game in LSU history, anywhere and especially in Death Valley. We took care of Ap State pretty easily, even though it was billed as the "Clash of the Champions".

Phil, not sure when we will come out there, but we should be with Gustav coming toward us. No the trike does not fit. Am thinking about a different toyhauler or getting a motorhome and then pulling it. Not sure about any of it right. Haven't been able to do a lot lately due to my Mother's health, but I would not give up the last 2years she able to live with us. How haveya'll been? As for your question Lewis, I won't put the uniform back on. I am growing a good goatee, that my wife does not like. I keep telling her I am going to grow it long enough to plait.

Lewis, 2 friends and I rode through Albany on Tuesday, but didnt know your son so we didnt hassle him. I used to have an aunt from there that was half Italian and half Hungarian. Her father owned a store there and made the best strawberry wine around. That was some 45 years or so ago, but still good memories.

All that duck tape is great for Boudreaux and Thibodeaux (if you know them) but Do you have to reduce the size of the pics for them to go through?

I bought my 05 Venture the Friday before Katrina hit. Today I bought a trike before another one hits here. Got a 2004 pewter goldwing with a new Trike Shop (roadsmith) kit on it. It has 33000 miles on the bike part and looks brand new. I will be selling my Venture shortly. Tried to attach photos but it said I was missing a security token and to notify my administrator. So until then.

I forgot and need help, thanks.

You can Google his name and sometimes it will come up. From experience the motion of probable cause is a ploy and will be cancelled or used just to see if you daughter is able to testify. Some kids are strong enough to and some are not.

I am getting a 2004 GW trike this week and will be selling my 05 RSV. Got some leg problems and the trike works best for me and liked the Trike Shop kit the best, which doesnt work for the RSV. Hope I am still accepted.

I used radar and laser for several years. The radar puts out a beam the size of the radar antenae that widens proportionately on each side, the further it goes. The more of an angle that it hits you at the better it is for you, meaning that his best angle to run radar it straight on. The laser sends out a small beam just like a laser pointer. You look through a spotting scope and put the red dot on the vehicle/cycle you want to check and pull the trigger. It will then give you the speed they are traveling and the amount of feet they are from you. It is very accurate and usually the only way to beat it is with a liberal judge or one that was a dope lawyer before becoming judge, like in my town. Best thing to do is try to make a deal with the prosecutor or throw yourself on the mercy of the court.

Thanks to all of you. Lyle

My Mother who is 80 y/o passed away about 10:40 PM last night, after a long bout with pancreatic cancer. Even though she is gone and in peace now I feel that she won the battle as she went on her own terms with little pain and can now be with her Savior and her family that went before her. Please say a little prayer for Leatrice Johnson when you say yours today. Thanks Lyle

Brother, it is always a tragedy when a fellw office falls. I just retired in June but we had a motorman fall last year as well. My prayers for him, his family and extended family. My tears fall as well. Lyle

Kid, as the Squid said I am in Baton Rouge and have a silver 05, however, having said that I am going to by a 2004 GW Trike , probably on Tuesday. I have some medical problems and feel that I will be more secure on it. I am then going to advertise mine for sell. I will still be happy to ride with you here or in between , I retired from the BR police at the end of June. Still have a lot of commitments though as my Mother lives with me and has pancreatic cancer. She fell last night and broke her arm so any prayers out there will help I,m sre. Lyle my cell number is on the list.

I entered "dog tags" on google and found many places that will inscribe dog tags with any thing you want, for little or nothing. I ordered 2 red tags and had ond inscribed with my medical problems and the other with my name address and phone number, in case I am unconsious. They hang around my neck at all times when I am out of the house. The cost for them was around 10 dollars a pair. At the same time I ordered regular dog tags for my dogs with their name and my address and phone number, for the same cost. It was used once as my fence was left open and my dogs were stopped walkiing in the middle of a busy road. When I was called I was real suprised as I did not know the gate was open. Also as you change and age your problems may change as well and you can replace the originals for updated tags at a cheaper rate. good luck. Lyle

There have been 2 people suggest New Orleans. I would love it here as I live 70 miles away. But during this time of year there are 2 kinds of weather down here. They are "hot as hell" and "hot as hell, with rain". I would love it here as we have the best food in the world but, there are many other places that are better to ride than here. We also have good places to fish but these ventures don't ride on top of the water. I would suggest northern Arkansas for the beauty and rodes to ride or the Texas hill Country for the same reasons.

Hey Buddy, sorry you are bunged up. I only have 11 more work days. After June 30th I will be free. I could help sometimes with your work, for mechanic work on the bike. I have a chance to buy 13.4 acres for $40400.00 in Bush. That is about $3000.00 an acre. Do you know what an acre is going for around where you live? I know it is much more yhan 3 grand in Bush. It has water, electric and a sewer tank there already. All I have to do is clear up the road that went into the woods and put some dirt and gravel down the road and the area I will put my trailer when I pull it out there. I'm gonna try to put a couple extra spots there so others could camp there as well. Well, hope you heal soon. Lyle

Sorry I cant come. I retire on June 30 and was gonna leave the next day. My wife and I had reservations since the first week and we had to cancel them. We even went and got passports a few months ago. However my mother who lives with us is 80 years old and was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer a couple of months ago, so now we have to be close to home. Not only do we help care for her but if something happens we need to be here. I have been to Canada 3 times and I love it. We went to Ft. Collins and Canada is closer so we were definatly coming there, just can't now. Lyle
