    Robin didn't say Big Tom was alright. She said, in reply to a question from Big Tom 'about Robin's finger,( you had to be there to know what that is all about) That her finger is OK. after all we all know That Big Tom Is NOT alright.

    She's probably going to kill me for this. This morning I took her to Rochester General for a check up on her heart. They found 2 stent had collapsed. The Dr. did her Roto Rooter Thing and replaced them with 2 new supercharged stents, so she will be better then new. She is Still in the Hospital and she has her note pad with her, So please send her a little cheer. She really doesn't like this sort of thing, So lay it on good and thick.

    One more thing, If it has been sitting for all this time, do not turn it over with the starter. fill the cylinders with marvel mistery oil or brake in oil and let it sit for a couple days. If the rings have set up you will do major damage to the cylinders and rings. You will need to turn it over by hand to make sure everything is lose and to cycle the oil out of the cylinders.

    I agree with tx2stergis, unless this is a really good deal, I would maybe keep looking for a low milage,still on the road bike. You didn't say how much the guy is asking for the bike. If it's super low,then go for it and trailer it home. Do all the work that has been covered here, Then ride the heck out of it. But DON"T ride it home if it is not on the road at this time. A lot of stuff can go wrong.

    Bolt on inspection plates may not be legal. I believe it has to be afixed to the front lower left fork. I don't like sticking it to the fork, but better that then getting a ticket.

    I just did a look up on the xvz13 royal star,it is a one seater,no bags or windshield. $4000.00 is maybe a bit high. 99 RSV with 70000 plus miles are going for $4000.00 and up. Thier was a guy here in central NY selling one with 70000k for $3500.00.Had light cosmedic damage.

    Nutten special. I drive a 2006 GMC pickum up truck. Robin drives a Hamster car, a 2012 alien green KIA Soul. It's actually a pretty cool little car. She calls it the alien zuzu.
