By the way, your CB antenna is on the wrong side. Check to see if its wired to the CB and not the radio.

RandyR, your the only smart one here. Your posting links about attractions and parks in NY, Knowing darn well that if it is in NY, all you have to do is show up and leave all the planning to those in CNY. With that being said, I think Georgia would be a great place to hole it. ..... just funnin, I think any where in the east would be great.

I've bought several parts from them. most of the time the pictures and discriptions match. Once in a while you will find a typo or a picture with a completely different discription. I had this happen with one part. I called them, told them what I found and they made it right. other then that I've had no problems.

1/4-20 nylon wing nuts from lowes or home depot or any hardware store. just cross thread them on. after that they will screw on and off just fine.about 40 cents each.

Yep, finally have a use for 5th gear. I cruise in 5th at 55mph and up. I drop to 4th at 50mph. Its all about the rear end gearing.

How long have you been riding? I'm kind of new to motorcycles, and when I went from a 900 vulcan to the Venture it seem like I was starting all over again. After watching the vidio, ride like a pro and applying what I learned, I am now able to handle the bike a lot better at low speed and at stops. Now if I can just figure out how to get it out of 1st gear.

I all most pulled the trigger on a 09 Kaw,1700 voyager, then i found my 99 venture for 1/4 of the price of the voyager. I have read alot on this and other forums about all the different touring bikes available,but there is very little said about the Voyager. Is it that bad? Is there something wrong with it?

Got the trike back from Lanes Yamaha Saturday with a new clutch. So it looks like we'll be on 3 wheels this year instead of 4.
